AIM EOD MDU and Training Officer

• Assist in supervising all current Mine Action operational teams in the area of responsibility. • Monitor mine action affairs by regularly visiting the field operations. • Preparation of briefing documents for operations meetings. • Controls the daily attendance of the current operations teams. • Managing and supervising the radio room. • Daily interface with the database facility. • Assist area manager in preparation of annual and quarterly operational plan. • Conduct quality check of reports before and after the data entry. • Preparation of reports and statistics. • Act as a member for Board of Inquiry when requested. • Conduct investigations of demining/none demining accident and missed device incidents when directed by area manager. • Maintenance and control of task orders and briefing the details to the teams and carry out debriefing on the collected data. • Provide technical advice needed by field operators. • Supervise, Task and monitor Quality Management Inspection, Mine Risk Education, and Landmine Impact Assessment teams. • Preparation of plans such as yearly, quarterly and contingency plans • Consolidate all IPs monthly reports on monthly bases and submission to Planning department • Tasking of all mine action teams in the area. (Manual Clearance, Survey, MDGs, EODs, BAC, MDU, MRE, QA and LIAT) • On behalf of Area Manager, Managing of all activities in the area in his/her absence • Maintain Ops filing system inside office and storage of old records • Response to requests, which receive to AMAC by local peoples/ local authorities • CDS booking for demolition • Arrangement for visitors in the field • Any other task advised by area manager in the related field • Prepare the minutes of the meetings • Make sure the demining accident data is accurately maintained and updated.
