Ensuring timely identification, assessments and response to conflict induced Internally Displacement Persons (IDP) in Balkh, Faryab, Jawzjan, Sarepul and Samangan provinces. Conduct IDP and protection monitoring as well as needs assessment missions and prepare analytical reports on IDPs situation for the Head of office and Supervisor to design Co-PROSPER projects. Liaise with the relevant actors (Government, UN agencies and NGOs) in the province on ongoing IDP projects and build up a strong network of operational partners to ensure community outreach possibilities for Sub Office Mazar-e-Sharif. Assist Department of Refugee and Repatriation (DoRR) on registration of refugee returnees, identify and response to their needs to facilitate their successful reintegration in above mentioned provinces. Conduct regular monitoring and provide protection assistance for returnees by maintaining close coordination with the concerned humanitarian actors and the local government authorities. A) Ensure all People with Specific Needs (PSN) cases are identified, assisted and followed up at provincial level. Support the IP and DoRRs on establishment of referral network and reporting system regularly on monthly basis. As a PSN focal person in Samangan province, coordinate and report the PSN related issues to regional PSN focal point in SOM. B) Liaise with the relevant stakeholders (Government, UN agencies, local NGOs) to ensure coordinated response to persons of concern and to enhance the capacity of DoRR and IP staff in order to provide services effectively to people of concern of UNHCR.
