Focal point and Quality controller

Position Overview The Data Quality Controller (DQC) is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of data collected during project activities. The role involves validating, verifying, and cleaning data to ensure it meets quality standards. The DQC will work closely with the Data Associate, Data Officer, and field teams to identify and resolve discrepancies in collected data. This position requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining data quality. As the East Region Focal Point: Serve as the main contact and liaison between field teams in Nangarhar, Kunar, Laghman and Nuristan and the central coordination office. Facilitate the smooth implementation of field activities and monitor progress. Address operational challenges at the field level and coordinate reporting schedules. Support logistics, security updates, and local coordination with stakeholders and communities. Provide region-specific insights and regular updates to project management. This combined role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure in dynamic field environments. My work contributes directly to the success and quality of humanitarian interventions in eastern Afghanistan.

FIELD MONITOR

•Conducted the assessments of the HHs (Households) for CBI-RHAF program e.g., the assessment of the HHs for cash for rent, cash for re-integration, cash for transportation, cash for winterization, and cash for basic needs of the various population groups such as: IDPs, IDP-Returnees, Host Communities, Refugees, and Refugee returnees. •Reported regularly the result of the assessments of the rightful HHs under the ongoing program to the information management section. •Collected the required data by filling-up the questionnaire based on the responses of the family members provide. •Submitted data through various surveying tools (Kobo) forms for JAT, CBI-RHAF, and PSNs’ referral forms. ABOUT ME WORK EXPERIENCE • Identified people at protection risk and referred them to the relevant NGOs considering the data sharing principles. • Contacted the beneficiaries two days earlier to inform them about the household survey and get specific address of the families.

SURVEYOR

• Conducted monitoring and verification programs of the HHs that had already been selected as genuine ones by the various NGOs for the Dostar-Khan-e- Mili program. • Reported regularly the result of the verification of the rightful HHs. • Collected the required data by filling-up the questionnaire based on the responses of the family members provided. • Uploaded the data into the online data collection tools for further processing and interventions. • Collected the data and managed the data and ensured data accuracy, and data confidentiality.

• Prepared reports to be presented. • Presented both Pashto and Dari news. • Worked as a technician to preparing Pashto and Dari news presentation. • Worked for radio packages, producing programs.

Abed Ahmadzai fully participated in and contributed to the conference titled 'Peace, Tolerance & Prosperity Conference – Balkh, Afghanistan' organized by the Afghanistan Economic & Legal Studies Organization (AELSO) in cooperation with The White Assembly in February 2019 in Balkh, Afghanistan. His efforts play an important role in promoting the values of a free society.
