End User Support Specialist

• Providing telephone support remotely helping to resolve IT issues through effective diagnosis, technical actions and customer focus. • Support in maintaining and supervise service providers for ERP including SAP, weighbridge management system, Gate management system and other off the shelf software, Microsoft 365 and SharePoint. • Desktop support, around Windows OS & Office365 ensuring that SLAs are observed. • Maintenance, installation and extension of WAN, LAN and WIFI Radios • Maintaining systems and information security, cybersecurity and IT risk management programs enforcing policies using Meraki Endpoint, SolarWinds • Enforcing the Lafarge system security policy and supporting the isolation of code and data • Maintaining Windows Server R2 servers, firewalls, switches and all server room equipment • Identification of ICT needs within HIMA Cement and generating system specifications for solutions • Ensuring all CCTV, Biometric entry systems are in proper operation and able to provide security within the plant • E-waste management training and implementation.

Business Support Assistant – IT Operations,

• LAN/WAN installation, Monitoring and Maintenance including VSAT, GSM and Telecommunications equipment. • Carry-out Network system and equipment maintenance and system protection, to ensure they are running effectively and enable easy and efficient use. • Monitoring and implementing network security and troubleshooting of server systems to ensure a consistent delivery of IT services. • Installation, maintenance and repair of CCTV surveillance cameras. • Testing and support the roll out of new versions of centrally supported software to ensure software is secure and operational for WFP staff. • ICT inventory update and management • Configuration and maintenance of VHF/HF Radio communication equipment. • Follow set emergency response processes and procedures as required to provide support in enabling emergency food assistance needs to be met. • Digitalization of projects including Asset Creation, Nutrition and Market facilitation • Business continuity planning and implementation including COVID-19

ICT Officer,

• Systems administrative support to the Servers, Windows server 2018, Domain and essential network services • Maintenance of Desktop/laptop hardware, software and peripherals • Installation and maintenance of Local Area Network, wireless network, peer-topeer or client server architecture. • WAN installations including PABX, VSAT and Microwave Radios • Providing monitoring reports with information on condition of network and ISPs to the IT Manager to assist with timely upgrades and necessary changes • Ensure Microsoft for business is properly installed and functional in all Computers including Microsoft Dynamics, Teams, and Box. • Asset verifications for all IT assets in the office including Software & licenses (Box, WebEx and Cyberoam FWs) • Implement local IT Policy for IRC Uganda in coordination with IT manager, DDO and Regional IT support team. • Ensure data security backups and protection of the LAN against data corruption and intrusion • Update and maintain network documentation to include IP address, Network and Server system access, email creation systems, upgrades and changes to original network, etc.
