Bashar is a seasoned professional with 25 years of experience in international development, program management, institutional reform, and capacity building in the MENA region. He has worked for renowned organizations such as the World Bank, United Nations, and Big 4 accounting and consulting firms, and has a proven track record in project and portfolio management, strategic planning, and coordination. With a portfolio of multi-sectoral projects worth over $30 million in the Middle East, Bashar has demonstrated his expertise in leading the design and implementation of complex initiatives. He has also established and led PMOs with portfolios exceeding $650 million in the region, further emphasizing his leadership and organizational skills. Committed to empowering others, Bashar has been actively involved in delivering project management and soft skills training, as well as providing advisory services and mentorship to clients across a range of sectors, including the United Nations, government, non-profit organizations, financial services institutions, manufacturing, and construction. Bashar holds a B.Sc in Engineering and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the New York Institute of Technology.
