Product Acceleration – 20% • Drive the multi-year product and platform strategy for ZedWallet, aligning innovation with business growth, customer needs, and regulatory priorities. • Adopt a portfolio-based innovation approach, focusing on high-growth verticals such as remittances, merchant payments, digital savings, and credit solutions. • Define the innovation roadmap and success metrics to ensure data-driven investment decisions and measurable impact. • Partner with Commercial and Engineering teams to establish sustainable technology operating models that improve unit economics and scalability. • Implement an innovation accounting model tracking performance across execution, customer outcomes, and financial contribution. • Continuously evaluate underperforming product lines, reallocating resources toward emerging revenue opportunities and high-value initiatives. Customer – 15% • Champion a customer-led product culture, embedding user research, behavioural analytics, and feedback loops across all product decisions. • Utilize AI and data analytics to enhance personalization, predict churn, and improve user engagement across channels. • Lead the definition and execution of Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies that strengthen ZedWallet’s position in the digital financial ecosystem. • Oversee the Customer Value Management (CVM) program, optimizing segmentation, lifecycle communication, and retention campaigns. • Build deep customer insights through field engagement, call-center feedback, and agent network data to inform continuous improvement. • Develop and execute market expansion playbooks targeting Zambia and upcoming regional markets, ensuring localization and compliance. Delivery – 15% • Oversee all end-to-end delivery frameworks, ensuring products are launched on time, within budget, and to expected quality standards. • Lead agile product delivery and sprint execution across Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to accelerate feature rollout. • Strengthen quality assurance automation to improve delivery velocity and reduce release-related risks. • Ensure alignment between business goals and delivery outcomes through structured planning, retrospectives, and OKR tracking. • Maintain strong collaboration across internal and external stakeholders to ensure readiness, compliance, and operational resilience before every launch. Product Design – 15% • Define and communicate a unified UX vision across all ZedWallet channels—app, web, USSD, and agent tools. • Champion Human Centered Design thinking principles to ensure intuitive, accessible, and inclusive product experiences for all users. • Establish UX performance metrics and track usability, accessibility, and satisfaction improvements. • Foster close collaboration between Product Managers, UX Designers, and Engineers to create cohesive, User-Centered journeys. • Maintain brand alignment and design consistency across all digital and agent touchpoints. Partnerships – 15% • Lead ZedWallet’s strategic partnerships with banks, telcos, FinTech’s, and global remittance providers to enhance interoperability and user experience. • Oversee the Open API and Integration program, enabling ecosystem connectivity with billers, aggregators, and merchants. • Build and nurture the Developer Relations (DevRel) community to promote third-party innovation on the ZedWallet platform. • Drive cross-border remittance partnerships with Western Union, WorldRemit, and MoneyGram to expand transaction corridors. • Engage regulators, financial institutions, and ecosystem partners to advocate for policies that support digital inclusion and responsible innovation. Internal Business Processes – 10% • Strengthen alignment across Product, Technology, Commercial, Risk, and Operations teams through structured governance and planning. • Lead process improvement and standardization to enhance efficiency, transparency, and compliance. • Oversee product P&L performance, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth through cost optimization and pricing efficiency. • Establish dashboards and performance tracking systems to monitor adoption, transactions, and financial outcomes. • Champion audit and risk compliance across all product and technology initiatives to meet regulatory and enterprise standards. Learning & Growth – 10% • Build and lead a high-performing, multidisciplinary product organization, focused on excellence, accountability, and innovation. • Foster a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement, using OKRs and agile retrospectives to measure progress and learning. • Mentor and coach team members to develop strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities. • Promote cross-functional learning and peer collaboration across Product, UX, and Engineering disciplines. • Reinforce ZedWallet’s vision and purpose through inspirational leadership and clear goal-setting that drives collective success
