1. Prepare and generate monthly and annual cash plans in the IFMIS system based on approved budgets. 2. Processing of exchequer requests. 3. Capture of revenue in the IFMIS Accounts Receivable module. 4. Verify documents received for payment, ensure that payee details are correct, and initiate payment for valid transactions in IFMIS. 5. Transfer of duly approved payments from IFMIS to the CBK Internet Banking module for the onward transmission of funds. 6. Capture and reconcile all General Ledger accounts in the Commission accounting system and IFMIS and clear IFMIS suspense accounts on a monthly basis. 7. Reconcile the IFMIS cash book to the Commission’s accounting system cash book on a monthly basis. 8. Management of used and unused accountable documents, including ensuring proper filing and retrieval of payment vouchers when required. 9. Update the imprest and assets registers. 10. Prepare audit file and necessary audit schedules as required. 11. Prepare monthly and quarterly expenditure analysis, budgetary draft reports, and any other reports and returns that may be required. 12. Carry out reconciliation for system entries, statutory deductions, supplier payments, and any other reconciliations that may be required. 13. Carry out petty cash management activities, including generating cash withdrawal requests in IFMIS, forwarding approved forms to CBK, and subsequent withdrawal and accounting of petty cash. 14. Immediate receipting and banking of money received to the respective Commission’s bank account. 15. Implement internal controls and examine the payment process for accuracy. 16. Provide feedback to enhance business processes and initiate process improvement to achieve operational excellence. 17. Develop individual work plans, monitor own performance, and seek requisite support to ensure delivery of agreed targets. 18. Grant Budgeting and Management: Collaborate with program and development teams to develop and monitor donor-funded budgets, ensuring compliance with donor intent, timelines, and reporting requirements. 19. Donor Reporting: Coordinate the preparation of detailed donor expenditure reports and verify supporting documentation for grant and statutory audits
