Program and Operation Management
I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Moi University and I am licensed by the Nursing Council of Kenya. I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Project Planning and Management at the University of Nairobi, with a focus on strengthening my expertise in programme leadership and implementation. For the past fifteen years, I have worked extensively in health and development programmes, gaining experience in HIV prevention, systems strengthening, and partnership management. I currently serve as the County Team Lead with the Center for Health Education and Biosecurity (CIHEB), a CDC-funded project, where I coordinate and provide guidance, mentorship, and training to staff implementing HIV/AIDS programmes in Makueni County. In this role, I also oversee human resources for health at county level, support system strengthening, and contribute to HIV/AIDS policy formulation at both county and national platforms. Previously, I worked as a Regional HIV Prevention Advisor in Lower Eastern Kenya and within the APHIAplus KaMili consortium, a USAID-funded project in Central Kenya. These roles gave me valuable exposure to coordinating multi-partner projects, conducting capacity assessments, supporting CSOs and CBOs, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with donor requirements. I am a committed and focused professional with excellent communication, interpersonal, and programme management skills. I believe my leadership experience and hands-on knowledge of partnership coordination, capacity building, and systems support make me well suited to contribute to the organizations strategic objectives.
