My name is Habtamu Atoma Feda from Ethiopia. I completed BSc in Natural Resource Management from Ambo University with CGPA 3.52/4 and MSc in Remote Sensing and Geo-informatics from Addis Ababa University with CGPA 3.49/4, Ethiopia. This is my passion to explain further education in the field of a PhD in Geospatial Science. The Urban Information Lab at the University of Texas at Austin! I intend to get this scholarship to prove myself in the field of research. I have a lot of potentials that need to be recognized by a reputed institute. I have been a student of the sciences. I have shown a distinction during my previous educational career. This scholarship is significant for my future career as it will lead to continuing my research work having broader exposure in this field. I had been part of different researches. I wrote many researches on different topics such as soil and water conservation, and application of Remote Sensing and GIS on Soil Erosion Modeling ,Drought monitoring and analysis, during my educational background, Disaster mitigation analysis using Geospatial Technology. My supervisors had always been satisfied with my performance. Importantly, my thesis had been approved and published on Journal of Sustainable Water Resources Management and I have published The Impact of Land Use LULCC on Catchment Lake Dandi, Ethiopia on reputable Journal of Environmental and Public Health then after completion of my degree, I became part of an Academic institution. I had been working for more than 7 years in Ambo University as Lecturer. This Research is likely to provide me opportunities to harness new prospects by gaining benefits from further education in a reputed institute. I can make positive changes in this field if I get this Opportunity that will help me to develop my research qualities. This scholarship will open new doors for me to get new experiences. I see my future as a researcher. My purpose in getting this scholarship is to meet with new researchers whose work has succeeded in this field. My intention is to learn new things.
