I am a safeguarding and investigation specialist with over seven years of experience leading Protection from Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Harassment (PSEAH), child protection, and GBV-focused programming and investigations in complex humanitarian settings. My work spans multiple international organizations, including the World Food Programme (WFP), World Health Organization (WHO), World Vision International (WVI), International Organization for Migration (IOM), and International Rescue Committee, where I’ve served in roles that strengthened accountability systems, empowered survivors, and helped partners uphold the highest safeguarding standards. Certified as a SEAH Investigator, I have led and supported over 47 investigations, coordinated interagency prevention strategies, and trained over 100 partner and field staff across six regions on safeguarding system strengthening. My approach is survivor-centered, culturally sensitive, and grounded in confidentiality, integrity, and justice. I have also worked on national-level initiatives, including the co-development of Afghanistan’s National Referral Mechanism for Trafficking in Persons (TIP), organizational safeguarding strategies, and contextualized IEC tools that help local NGOs, UN agencies, and communities prevent harm and report abuse safely. What drives me is the belief that safeguarding isn’t just a policy framework — it is a humanitarian responsibility. I aim to continue supporting organizations, partners, and communities in building safer systems where protection, dignity, and accountability are not optional, but expected.
