Legal & Insurance Specialist

Provide legal advisory support on corporate, commercial, regulatory and labour law matters within a multinational operating environment, delivering independent, risk-based advice to management and business units. Draft, review, negotiate and finalise a broad range of legal agreements, including service contracts, lease agreements, memoranda of understanding and other commercial instruments. Conduct regular compliance checks to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations and internal Group policies and procedures, identifying gaps and coordinating corrective actions. Implement and monitor legal and regulatory compliance controls, including tracking legislative developments and supporting internal audits and regulatory inspections. Identify, assess and advise on legal and compliance risks, contributing to risk mitigation strategies and sound decision-making. Support corporate governance and company secretariat functions, including coordination of Board and Board Committee meetings, preparation of board packs and resolutions, maintenance of statutory registers, and advice on compliance with by-laws and shareholders’ agreements. Lead and support disciplinary processes, ensuring procedural fairness, legal compliance and alignment with internal disciplinary frameworks and labour legislation. Facilitate compliance awareness initiatives and training on areas such as anti-bribery, anti-trust, economic and trade sanctions, data protection and ethical conduct. Liaise with regulators, internal audit, external legal counsel, insurers and other stakeholders during inspections, reviews, negotiations and dispute resolution processes. Oversee corporate insurance programmes, including policy renewals, coverage assessments, claims management and engagement with brokers and underwriters to ensure alignment with organisational risk exposure. Support the implementation of ethical conduct frameworks, including whistleblower channels and disciplinary procedures
