I am a Certified Project Manager and Incorporated Civil Engineer (IEng MICE) with 21 years of experience in managing major development and construction projects, with a focus on sustainable development. I am is seeking to apply his expertise in program management and coordination within the NGO sector in Palestine. My skills include PRINCE2 Practitioner, Managing Successful Programmes (MSP), Environmental Management System, Contract Management, Quality Management Systems, UN Procurement Regulations, and Project Monitoring and Evaluation. Currently, a Senior Project Manager at UNDP (since December 2022), I am tasked with managing the Central Training Institute (CTI) in Jericho project, with a budget of USD 16 million. This project involves constructing public buildings, upgrading utilities for an 85,000 m² site, and includes a 2,000 m³ underground water reservoir. I am also managed the construction of a concrete open stormwater channel (USD 1.5 million) and the drilling and rehabilitation of a deep well in Hebron Governorate (USD 1 million). Previously at UNDP (January 2022 - December 2022), I managed an employment generation program (USD 11.5 million) that included construction and rehabilitation of infrastructure projects like schools, hospitals, and shops in Hebron's Old City. I also managed a Deep Well project (USD 5.5 million) and oversaw the rehabilitation of a one-stop center in Hebron City (USD 300,000). From August 2018 to December 2022, I managed the Hebron Courthouse project (approximately USD 26 million), overseeing the entire construction process from initiation to handover, including HR, quality assurance, HSE assurance, contract management, and procurement. My experience also includes serving as Project Manager for UNOPS in the West Bank and Jordan. I was a Centre of Excellence Engineer and Deputy Project Manager at UNOPS, working on design reviews, project setups, and overseeing construction projects like the Tulkarem Courthouse Facility (USD 18.5 million). I played a key role in achieving ISO 18001 certification for the Tulkarem Courthouse Facility. Earlier in my career, I worked as a Project Engineer and Section Engineer at Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC) in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, UAE, involved in significant construction projects like the Jumeirah Islands-Heights project (USD 350 million) and the Habshan Gas Complex Expansion Project. I hold a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering (Structural Branch) from Birzeit University. Senior Project Manager (12/2022 - Current): Preparing a detailed project proposal for the Central Training Institute (CTI) in Jericho, with a total budget of USD 16 million. Leading a team of six engineers to successfully complete the CTI project. Managing the construction of public buildings (classrooms, accommodations, training facilities) and upgrading utilities (electricity, low voltage, water, sewage, gray water, firefighting) for the entire 85,000 m² site of the CTI project. Constructing and operating a 2,000 m³ underground water reservoir with a 4,600 m water transmission line. Managing the construction of a 730 m concrete open stormwater channel, including three main box concrete culverts (bridges), with a total budget of USD 1.5 million. Managing the drilling and initial rehabilitation works of a deep well in Hebron Governorate, reaching a depth of 680 m, with a total budget of USD 1 million. Senior Project Manager (01/2022 - 12/2022): Managing several smaller projects, including an employment generation program funded by the KfW in the West Bank and Gaza, valued at USD 11.5 million. Overseeing the construction and rehabilitation of various infrastructure projects within the employment generation program, such as two schools, two hospitals in the Jerusalem area, refurbishing over 80 shops in Hebron's Old City, and executing other subprojects. Managing a Deep Well project funded by JICA, valued at USD 5.5 million. This involved conducting a hydrological assessment, drilling, detailed design, constructing a water transmission pipeline, and developing a water well facility with an abstraction capacity of 2,500 m3/day. Overseeing the rehabilitation of a one-stop center serving the family and juvenile police in Hebron City, valued at USD 300,000. Project Manager (08/2018 - 12/2022): Managing the Hebron Courthouse, the biggest infrastructure project implemented by UNDP/PAPP, with a total budget of approximately USD 26 million. Overseeing the entire construction process of the Hebron Courthouse, from initiation to handing over a fully operational and functional facility. Managing the HR process to recruit the project team, on-site construction, quality assurance, HSE assurance, contract management, and procurement for equipment and furniture suppliers. Managing the installation of a major rooftop solar photovoltaic system. Following the project through the Defects Notification Period (DNP) after completion.

As a Project Manager (2013–2014), Deputy Project Manager (2012–2013), and Project Engineer (2009–2012) at UNOPS in the West Bank and Jordan, I performed the following key duties: • Managed a USD 5.5 million emergency project in Jordan to construct and equip a joint security center for Jordanian security forces in Syrian refugee camps, including accommodations, offices, and solar-powered facilities. • Served as Deputy Project Manager for the USD 1.6 million Beit-Leid Police Station in Tulkarem, West Bank, supervising design and construction, contributing to achieving ISO 14001 certification for environmental management. • Worked as a Project Engineer on the USD 3 million SASTF project in Jericho, overseeing construction of an arms training center, classrooms, offices, storage, and a NATO-standard shooting range. • Supervised infrastructure works for the EUR 15 million Police Training Facility (PTF) project on an 85,000 m² site in the West Bank, managing earthworks, service buildings, electrical and mechanical services, underground utilities, roads, parking, and landscaping. • Coordinated with stakeholders, including design offices and contractors, to resolve construction issues and ensure project alignment with UNOPS standards and timelines.

As a Section Engineer (2008–2009), Project Engineer (2007–2008), Site Engineer (2006–2007), and Graduate Engineer (2004–2006) at Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC) in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, UAE, I performed the following key duties: • As Section Engineer for the Jumeirah Islands-Heights project (USD 350 million), supervised a civil construction team of five subordinates managing 200 workers, overseeing the construction of two towers and 17 luxury villas for Nakheel. • As Project Engineer for the Offshore Associated Gases (OAG) EPC Package-3 project (USD 287 million), managed civil construction activities for a gas-receiving unit, including four pipe racks, an electrical substation, a mechanical shelter, and 12 steel structure sheds, certified by Bureau Veritas for GASCO. • As Site Engineer for the Habshan Gas Complex Expansion Project, managed the civil fabrication yard, producing 8,000 tons of fabricated steel rebar, 2,000 precast concrete elements, and 10,000 m of formwork, and created civil shop drawings. • As Graduate Engineer for the Jebel Ali Power and Desalination Station (USD 120 million), coordinated civil activities in gas and diesel receiving/storage areas, resolving construction issues and drawing conflicts with the design office (Toaliba, Japan).
