Provide daily technical support to hotel staff and guests, promptly resolving issues related to hardware, software, and connectivity to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations across all departments. • Maintain and support critical hotel systems including OPERA Property Management System (PMS), Micros Point of Sale (POS), back-office financial applications such as Infor Sun Systems, and EMPOWER: Guest Experience (GXP) platforms to enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction. • Coordinate closely with department heads to understand business requirements and ensure that IT solutions and infrastructure align with operational objectives, service delivery standards, and guest expectations. • Collaborate with the external vendors such as Novacom and Oracle, and regional IT teams on the implementation of new software, system upgrades, and hardware rollouts, ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to SLAs. • Oversee data backup procedures, manage Windows Server environments, ensure endpoint protection with antivirus tools, and implement IT security protocols in compliance with corporate cybersecurity policies. • Proactively monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot the hotel’s network infrastructure, including VLANs, Cisco switches, wireless access points, routers, guest internet services, and firewall configurations, ensuring optimal connectivity and secure access. • Maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, IT assets, licensing, user access rights, and service contracts to support IT audits and ensure accountability. • Provide technical support for AV setups and internet connectivity in meeting and conference rooms, working with the Banquets and Sales teams to ensure seamless guest and corporate events. • Conduct training sessions and provide one-on-one user support to staff on Microsoft Office 365 applications, Outlook email services, Teams collaboration tools, and hotel-specific software platforms. • Enforce and monitor adherence to IT policies, including data protection measures, password and account security protocols, and acceptable use policies to safeguard corporate and guest information.
