An Economist by training, a Researcher and Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) practitioner with over seven years of experience in socioeconomic research. My expertise spans qualitative and quantitative data collection, particularly in household, institutional, and firm surveys. I have lead and contributed to research projects at all levels including coordination, enumeration, and analysis for esteemed organizations such as: Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development, Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS), Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA), Department for International Development (DFID), Makerere University, International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), Uganda Communications Commission, Purple Link International, Ace Policy Research Institute (APRI) among other institutions. In addition to research, I bring three years of M&E experience, with a strong grasp of indicator development, M&E system design and management, and data-driven problem solving. I am proficient in statistical software and mobile data collection tools like ODK and Kobo Toolbox, which streamline data integration for monitoring and evaluation.

JOB PURPOSE: The role of the PMER NDRT will be ensuring that relevant response data is captured accurately, timely and used by the response officials. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Design electronic data entry tools to enable volunteers capture data on the activities they support during the response. 2. Support training of volunteers in capture and submitting of data using the electronic tool. 3. Work with the response team to identify relevant areas that require special attention and hence have such data prioritised. 4. Monitor performance by verifying if volunteers are conducting the assigned duties. 5. Support officers in drafting general work plans to ensure a systematic execution of activities and identify any bottlenecks. 6. Conduct continuous on site mentoring for volunteers to ensure quality and accuracy of data in maintained.
