Regional Manager /State Head

As regional manager, Tata Trusts leading a team of 60-member, multi-thematic, multilocation team spread across Vidarbha with an annual programme budget of more than INR 10 crore, impacting 30+ thousand households spread over 5 districts and 300+ villages in the region. ● Successfully Handled CSR project in partnership with BPCL and HDFC bank on Livelihood, WASH and Education. ● Promoted and built strong relationships across various teams at Tata Trusts, namely Design, Finance, Strategy, Policy & Advocacy, Communication for efficient and effective management of projects. ● Developed a strategic framework to address gaps in collaboration with the program implementation team on the ground, and assisted in the development of project implementation plans. Ensured the availability, timely deployment, and effective use of resources (human resources, finances, etc.). Monitored the implementation of the program to ensure that the qualitative and quantitative objectives of the program were met. ● Coordinated with the program design team to design a program that addressed the identified needs in line with the approved strategic goals. Ensured that all field programs focused on the overall strategy of improving the quality of life of rural communities. ● Facilitated the effective and efficient implementation of the program to maximize its impact. Oversaw budgets and was responsible for providing professional and timely reporting on progress to a variety of donor agencies. ● Effectively Handled Jalyukt Shivar Abhiyan (JYS) Programme in partnership with Government of Maharashtra in three districts of Vidarbha ● Worked as a Expert Director on Indujaa Mahila Milk Producer Company, Yavatmal. ● Executive Committee member for Chandrapur Cancar Care Foundation

Manager- Watersheds

Led a multidisciplinary team in the implementation of watershed-based holistic development strategies for drylands, addressing climate change and resilience issues of resource-poor marginalized communities. ● Formulated macro-policy guidelines and national/state strategies, and liaised with donors, implementing agencies, and local governments to execute and implement projects. ● Conceptualized, formulated, and prepared programs on agriculture, rural development, and natural resource management. Coordinated operations and various activities and provided operational support to multi-location, multi-disciplinary field teams in project execution. ● Reviewed project implementation status and ensured that operational activities were carried out in accordance with the work plan. Monitored progress against established work plans and assisted field teams in recommending remedial actions when activities were behind schedule.

Sr. Development Officer

During my eight-year tenure at the Sir Ratan Tata Trusts, I worked on the Rural Livelihoods portfolio with CSPC and CInI, managing a portfolio of over 25 projects valued at INR 30 Crore. My work experience covered Central India.  Coordinated with over 15 NGOs in 7 states to promote sustainable livelihood opportunities for tribal communities. Developed and implemented projects in agriculture, water conservation, microfinance, and forest-based livelihoods. ● Conducted feasibility studies, organized review missions, and ensured quality of outputs. Monitored and evaluated projects, identified areas of improvement, and took corrective actions. ● Built project and institutional sustainability through fundraising, networking, and community mobilization. ● Collaborated with state government and liaised with government officials. ● Developed a capacity building strategy for the State Level Nodal Agency (SLNA) of Integrated Watershed Management Program, Jharkhand. ● Led the development of a program under Accelerated Irrigation Benefit Program (AIBP) in collaboration with the Water Resource Department, Government of Jharkhand. ● Led a pan-Jharkhand research study on water poverty and livelihood supported by FAO. ● Promoted mid upland drought resistant paddy varieties in project locations in collaboration with the Upland Rice Research Station of ICAR institution. ● Formulated and executed a project on water resource development and management for select villages in the Dangs, Gujarat.
