Education Program Officer: (Leading 3 Projects), Across Yemen,  Support to Program Development and Planning • Contribute to the proposal development process for all funding opportunities of Formal Education and Non – Formal Education - EiE, Accelerated Education Program (AEP), and Early Childhood Development. • Technical support in developing the Foundational skills of (Functional literacy, numeracy, and social emotional learning (SEL) / soft skills) Non-formal education service delivery and systems strengthening as well as developing the curriculum and teaching and learning ( SLP, BLN and ALP), in an alignment with the War Child Yemen program strategy • Perform Technical development and designing the assessments Tools of MIRA, Rapid Needs Assessment and ASER, supplementary materials, curriculum development, teacher training, youth development, and community engagement to support the strategic response plan to new projects of Education in Emergency, Early Childhood Development, Accelerated Education Program; in coordination with other CCs based on research and analyze regional and national political, education, social and economic development trends. • Provide strategic planning of the technical activities of Education due to the EiE standards to deliver a result based on work evidence to ensure the Education Quality on the ground, such as the Teachers Incentive, School Feeding, Learning and Teaching Materials, schools Rehabilitation including WASH, Schools Supplies, and Schools Staff Trainings, being committed to Code of Conduct Policy and Safeguarding Policy.  Coordination in Partnership, Strategic Donors and Fundraising: • In coordination with Program Quality Department supports Area Offices in implementation of projects according to Core Humanitarian Standards, protection and gender mainstreaming principles and disability inclusion, as well as with War Child International and clusters technical standards and guidelines • Proactive and core participations in the National Education Cluster and its Sub Clusters. WAR CHILD UK’s Focal Point in the Strategic Advisory Group (SAG), and the other Technical Working Groups (AWGs) of the Education Cluster. contribution to setting up the Education Cluster Strategies, Gap Analysis with all its Hubs • Ensure partnership strengthens and increases the impact of the War Child country program, while enhancing local capacity for response to the humanitarian and development needs in Yemen. • Manage, supervise and leading the Local NGOs – Implementing Partners on the Activities implementation, Capacity Building for their relevant projects staff. • Identify funding opportunities and develop funding proposal, budget and donor reports (split per area), and Revise funding proposal and budget (split per area) • High capacities in Fundraising and writing multi-sectored proposals based on the NGO’s strategies, HRPs, and HNO.  Program Management, Monitoring and Delivery of Results (Achievements). • Quality & MEAL: Technical SOP Development, Needs Assessments, Lessons Learned Documentation, and Third-Party Monitoring. • Work closely and collaboratively with MEAL Unit to create different Tools to collect/analyze/track/share information on implementation issues, suggest solutions on formal Education and Non – Formal Education. E.g. EiE, Early Childhood Development, Accelerated Education Program ( AEP), in particular in ( BLN and ALP), to capture the best practice and lessons learned. • Managed to reach out to 75ooo children had access to the accredited education supported with learning materials in addition to developed 1540 teachers’ capacity in TiCC and PSS Trainings. • 85 schools rehabilitated including Wash Facilities and gender sensitives and equipped with learning materials such as 12500 new desks, 240 whiteboards, etc.; besides 211 Temporary Learning Spaces in schools equipped with learning materials. Also, developed the DEO, GEO, MoE capacity in supporting the Nnational Exams reaching out to 2580 children in grade 9 and Grade 12. • Managed the implementation of Non formal Education referring 3332 out of schools’ children to the formal education.

• Literature review of all the recent assessments reports (Arabic & English) con-ducted by GIZ-YEIP and the local implementing partner Orphan Development Foundation (OFD). • Preparatory meeting in GIZ- YEIP office with its staff to get overview orientation about training course, identify the stakeholders/target groups for interviews, develop the draft instruments, develop a field research schedule, and review logistical arrangements. • Holding initial meetings with the local implementing partner OFD to facilitate the process of evaluation like contacting the participants and employers for meetings, individual interviews and FGDs. • Holding meeting with the participants in OFD Office to identify the purpose of this evaluation, make Focus group discussions, individual interviews, besides to fill out the key information questionnaire focusing on the participants’ job status, their problems, and their suggestions and recommendation. • Field visit observations meeting the business employers gathering their suggestions, recommendations of the way forward. Besides, prepare draft inputs for Programme advocacy and donor reporting. • Line management for CC project field staff, and contribute to CC strategy development. • Provide input on donor proposals. • Implement and manage CC projects (activities and budget) according to strategy, proposal and plan as delegated from AM. In addition, report to AM about project progress and priorities • Provide technical and administrative support throughout all stages of programming processes by executing/administering a variety of technical program transactions, preparing materials/documentations and complying with organizational processes and management systems, to support program planning.
