Brief Introduction: My name is Muhammad Abdullah, and I have over 18 years of experience in grants and contracts management, project and program implementation, community development, disaster risk reduction, and agribusiness development. I have managed multi-million-dollar projects funded by USAID, the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the International Organization for Migration (IOM), CAB International, Concern Rapid Fund, and Chemonics International. These projects focused on improving disaster resilience, sustainable development, and humanitarian response. In my recent role with IOM, I was actively involved in supporting displaced communities reintegrating into conflict-affected areas of Pakistan. I developed grant packages, coordinated with stakeholders, and ensured the smooth execution of project activities. I was actively involved in designing and evaluating technical and financial proposals, tracking grant progress, verifying payments, and ensuring deliverables are met. Additionally, I helped establish the Implementing Partner Technical Review Committee (IPTRC) by developing guidelines, evaluation criteria, concept note templates, and other essential documents. As a core member of the committee, I contributed to selecting Implementing Partners (IPs) and Service Providers (SPs), ensuring their proposals aligned with our programmatic objectives. Previously, I served as a Project Coordinator for an emergency response project funded by Concern Rapid Fund. This initiative provided 850 transitional shelters to vulnerable displaced persons (TDPs) in North Waziristan. In the project I led a team of 16 staff members, developed implementation plans, conducted baseline surveys, ensured beneficiary selection based on set criteria, coordinated procurement, and oversaw shelter installation. Throughout the project, I ensured compliance with donor regulations and conducted regular monitoring to maintain quality standards. With my experience in emergency response, community resilience, and program coordination, I believe I can contribute effectively to the Programme Assistant (Polio) role at UNICEF. I am eager to support child health and immunization efforts by applying my skills in grants management, stakeholder coordination, and project implementation to further UNICEF’s mission
