I am a humanitarian access and security analyst with nearly a decade of experience leading access negotiations, political and legal context analysis, and multi-country programme operations across East Africa. My work has focused on enabling safe and inclusive assistance in fragile and conflict-affected settings by building trust with government officials, non-state actors, and community leaders. Currently, I serve as Global Operations Manager at Athena, where I oversee international programme frameworks, risk assurance systems, and safeguarding compliance across more than 30 global partnerships. Previously, as Programme Manager with Yakol Consultancy, I directed humanitarian interventions across Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, and Tanzania, producing political and legal analyses, negotiating access with key stakeholders, and advising donors and NGO boards on operational strategies. Earlier in my career with Netro Technologies, I piloted urban humanitarian cash-transfer projects that integrated biometric verification and strengthened digital inclusion. I am passionate about capacity building and knowledge transfer, having trained and mentored staff on humanitarian principles, negotiation strategies, and inclusive beneficiary targeting. My leadership extends to youth and governance roles, where I promoted peacebuilding and cross-cultural dialogue during electoral cycles in Kenya. Academically, I hold a BSc in Criminology and Security Studies, postgraduate certificates in International Security Management and Conflict Management, and I am a Certified Situational Awareness Specialist (SAS®). I am also pursuing a Master’s in Governance, Peace & Security Management at Africa Nazarene University. Fluent in English and Swahili, I bring strong cross-cultural communication skills and remain deeply committed to the humanitarian principles of neutrality, impartiality, and independence that guide my work.
