Naomi Jepkemboi Matey is an agronomist and livelihoods development specialist with over ten years of experience advancing climate-smart agriculture, value chain development, and inclusive rural economies across Eastern Africa. She has led multi-county programs that strengthen farmer aggregation, market linkages, and food and nutrition security for vulnerable communities. Naomi currently consults on agricultural circular systems, supporting agri-MSMEs and cooperatives to adopt regenerative practices and access climate finance. She previously managed climate-smart sorghum value chains at East Africa Maltings Ltd and community nutrition programs at Feeding Futures Charity. Passionate about resilient and equitable food systems, she blends technical expertise with grassroots engagement to drive sustainable impact. She holds a BSc in Agriculture Biosystems and Management and is pursuing an MSc in Management of Agroecology and Environment.
