Duties /Responsibilities - Preparation and delivering Refresher Training courses in line with MAG’s operational standards and procedures. - Preparation of administrative and logistical aspects of operations to destroy stocks of obsolete munitions in accordance with MAG’s operational standards and procedures - Preparing, planning and carrying out the destruction of obsolete ammunition stocks in Sierra Leone in accordance with MAG’s operational standards and international standards. - Establish and maintain constructive communication and coordination with partners in accordance with Regional Programme Manager Guidelines. - Organizing and overseeing ammunition destruction operations in line with IATGs and MAG SOPs - Conduct WAM technical assessments regarding safe and secure management of ammunition and weapons. - Implement the IATG Risk Reduction Process Levels. - Adapt and deliver SALW Management training to host government officials in accordance with MOSAIC. - Motivate and develop technical team, as well as partnered national authorities to perform high standard. - Build and maintain good working relationships with all national staff to maximize Capacity Development objectives. - Ensure that the TOM & RPM is fully briefed on all WAM Operational issues and technical difficulties arising from project implementation - Assisting the TOM/SMiC in providing relevant and useful information and case studies to the RPM. - Submit accurate WAM Operational reports as directed by the TOM/SMiC to produce their WAM technical reports and documents as and when required. - Produce quality technical assessment reports detailing technical and financial rationales for recommended interventions. - Monitor security situation in work locations and areas of operations ensuring that the TOM/SMiC is kept informed of security risks and developments. - And above all, work within the framework of MAG’s core values, promoting its ethos and mission statement.

Duties/Responsibilities: - Line management of the National Team Leader, Section Leader, Team Medic and Driver (Safety Vehicle) if deployed. - Responsible for drafting, review and submission all task documentation including Implementation Plans, Demolition orders and Completion Reports. - Responsible for the operational output of the MAT and achieving 7,500m2 BAC of cluster strikes and a minimum of 200m2 of AP-AT minefield clearance deliverables. - Responsible for team safety and security whilst deployed during operational phase of the project including the enforcement of COVID-19 PPE and preventative measures. - Site planning and maintenance of daily routines in coordination with the Deputy Operations Manager. - Accountable for the MAT explosives, storage and weekly reporting whilst in the field. Monitor, conduct and oversee continuation training during down time. - Have an in-depth maintained knowledge of all mines, munitions and other explosive threats in South Sudan and disarm, neutralize, and/or dispose of where applicable and as authorized by relevant authorities. - Conduct in-situ and bulk demolitions when required. - Carry out weekly QA of the MAT with the support of the National Team Leader. - Maintain Deminer, Section Leader and National Team Leader log books monthly. - Report any project non-conformities to the Operations Manager and Deputy Operations Manager immediately. - Overall responsibility for team field funds and expenditure. - Weekly review and submission of Cashbook to the AFL Officer. - Carry out any other duties as detailed by the Deputy Operations Manager
