I have over 25 years of experience leading large, multi-stakeholder programs across WASH, public health, rural governance, and policy reform in India and Asia-Pacific. I have worked closely with national and state governments, international NGOs, and private sector partners to design and implement evidence-based programs, draft and operationalize policies and Government Orders, and strengthen institutional systems. My roles have included leading state and national initiatives on WASH systems strengthening, SDG localization, child and consumer protection, and regulatory reform. I have managed diverse teams, overseen complex field operations, coordinated donor-funded programs, and supported governments with data, technical inputs, and capacity building. Internationally, I contributed to strengthening consumer protection laws and enforcement systems in Asia Pacific Region aligning with respective national frameworks. I am involved in leading campaigns on issues relating access to health (SDG 3), access to knowledge, accountability, sustainable consumption/production (SDG 12), consumer justice (SDG 16) and financial services (SDG 8). Representing Consumers International, I also served as International Consultant to UNIDO and as Regional Advisor to WHO Western Pacific Region. I had closely worked with Trade Unions, Government agencies, UN agencies, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), Private Sector (Corporates and Chambers of Commerce and Industry), Media, research institutions and think tanks in 28 countries of Asia Pacific region.
