Education Project Manager and Community Participation/ SEL TA

Collaboratively develop teacher training and coaching strategies with key partners and the development of learning materials aligned with the National Curriculum Base (CNB) in literacy and other educational areas. Promote contextualized pedagogical approaches that strengthen teaching practices, foster reflective learning environments, and support continuous professional development. Encourage joint planning and implementation to ensure relevance, sustainability, and impact in diverse educational settings. Budget management and coordination of MEAL tools among partners. Responsible for coordinating and supervising relationships with key actors and stakeholders at both central and local levels of the education sector. Build and maintain partnerships with government entities, municipalities, private sector actors, to advance project objectives. Leads the development of strategic plans for the education component, with a focus on supplementary activities such as the tutor program, reading clubs, SILC (Savings and Internal Lending Communities), Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), and initiatives to strengthen school enrollment and budget execution aligned with the DIP and component indicators. Additionally, oversees the implementation of activities related to the WASH–Sanitary Infrastructure component in targeted schools.

Acting Program Manager SEL-PSS

Acted as Program Manager for the Education and Psychosocial Support program providing project design, management, supervision, and partner support for the next steps of Phase 2. The key steps of the role were reviewing the design, validating it with partners, establishing sub-recipient agreements, and beginning start-up activities.

Project Manager and SEL Project Leader

During the life of the project I was in charge of the technical and budgetary direction of the project for Honduras, coordination of activities with the Haiti project, supervision of MEAL components, human resource management of the project, as well as the strengthening and management of counterparts, represent the organization with donors and counterparts, implementation of activities framed in relation to the Socio-Emotional Learning project in schools, preparation of digital and face-to-face SEL material – training manuals, activity toolkit, game kit in SEL, development of teacher training in Socio-Emotional Learning and documenting lessons learned for different audiences.

Implement prevention strategies and programs in schools, and create educational networks for the sustainability of prevention strategies: Specialist in Teacher Professional Development, responsible for designing training modules focused on the prevention of school violence. Oversees project monitoring and impact evaluation. Facilitates planning, reflection, and critical dialogue spaces to support systematization processes. Programme coordinator

The project aimed at community and youth strengthening in the Monterrey/Alemán, Flor del Campo, and La Joya neighborhoods(2013- 2015) - II Phase of the project in the Hato de Enmedio neighborhood, Las Palmas and Kennedy. With the following functions: Coordinate actions with governmental and non-governmental counterparts, plan and execute training in social skills for students from public schools in the areas of influence, program and carry out workshops for teachers of the schools in intervention, monitoring, and impact evaluation of the project and development of training manuals on social skills, Community Training Manual and Manual of good Community Practices
