Report directly to COO. Responsible to build a team from scratch, develop strategies and processes to create Corporate Communications function and roll out in the organization. Strategies include website for multiple SBUs within the organization including content creation approaches, graphic designs and media newline and support CSR activities events coverage in Africa.  Strategic Communication Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy that aligns with the brand's positioning, values, and business goals. Define and maintain the brand's messaging framework, ensuring consistency across all communication channels and touchpoints.  Thought Leadership: Drive thought leadership for the company through authored media articles, white papers, blogs and case studies. Identifying topics and developing thought leadership content on key focus areas for leadership team members. Support for leadership speeches and articles.  Content Creation & Strategy: Producing engaging and informative content across multiple platforms, ensuring a consistent tone and style. Overseeing the creation of multimedia content, including videos and infographics, to effectively communicate the company’s value propositions. Develop and execute a killer content strategy that resonates with influencers and brands alike. Oversee the creation of engaging, high-quality content across our website, blog, social media, newsletters, and more.  Team Leadership: Manage a team of communication professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and opportunities for growth. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages creativity and excellence. Regular one-on-one meetings and performance checks ensure that team members deliver on priorities, following communication guidelines and set clear goals.  CSR Activities in West Africa: Identify the major community development areas in Nigeria, Africa. Oversee the planning and execution of CSR programmes. Event coverage and content creation for media publication in different top-tiers newspapers in Nigeria. Also, designing CSR website and content creation with pictures, videos and infographics. Overall responsibility of planning, budgeting and resource allocation for all CSR initiatives and campaigns across Nigeria, Africa. Responsible for creating sustainable development initiatives for the host communities in various parts of Nigeria and implement CSR initiatives that contribute and enhance the company's reputation.  Public Relations & Social Media: Review media content, supporting editorial plans and social media efforts. Ensuring that the press releases and articles align with the company’s messaging objectives. Maintaining a good relationship with the top-tier Nigerian news agencies for publishing articles on a monthly basis.  Brand Management: In maintaining brand consistency, developing and upholding content and brand guidelines aligned with the company’s values. Monitoring industry trends and competitor activities to inform effective brand positioning. Spearhead the creation of marketing communication collaterals and internal campaigns. Maintain accuracy and consistency of brand execution.  Campaign Design and Execution: Conceptualize, plan, and execute communication, HR, HSE sand CSR campaigns across various digital platforms. Monitor campaign performance, analyze results, and formulate strategies to optimize KPI.  Website Management: Designing and developing websites for various SBUs. Identify, track, and report on progress of key KPIs (web traffic, content downloads, engagement metrics, page views, bounce rate, CTA clicks and events, new visitors and returning visitors).  Analytics and Reporting: Driving data-informed decision-making by overseeing the preparation of regular reports on email campaigns and responsible for creating monthly, weekly, quarterly and yearly departmental reports. Use data to drive decisions and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns, content, and events to continuously optimize and improve our strategies.  Budget Management: Creation and effectively managing CSR and communication budget expenditure and working closely with finance team for tracking.  Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including category management, sales, operations, and product, to align the various initiatives with business objectives and priorities. Collaborate with internal and external creative agencies to develop compelling brand assets and campaigns for all categories.  External Communication: Managing and creating engaging and informative content for various external communications channels (Print, Audio-Visual, Emails, Websites etc.) to keep the external stakeholders informed about the company news, initiatives, and achievements.  Internal Communications: Develop and execute internal communication strategies that align employees with the company’s mission, vision, and objectives. Coordinate with senior leadership to ensure transparent and effective communication across the organization.  Crisis Management; Put together a robust crisis communications plan and ensure its communicated to the board and senior leadership team. Also partner with HSE department.  Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Developing and implementing an internal communication and content strategies with key stakeholders (internal and external).  Corporate Information Management: Managing online and offline corporate information on SharePoint.
