- Set up plans, design, Installation Qualification (IQ), Operation Qualification (OQ), Performance Qualification (PQ), Calibration, Commissioning, Preventive and Corrective Maintenance, Quality Assurance (QA), and Quality Control (QC) for various types of equipment. - Ensure JCI (Joint Commission International) regulatory compliance for hospital engineering and facility management. - Prepare technical specifications and analyze comparative statements for Biomedical, Electrical & Electronic equipment and preparing SOP (Standard Operating Procedure), ETP (Equipment Testing Procedure), Guideline, ensure GoDP (Good Documentation Practice) based on international standards (e.g., ISO 13485, ISO 9001, ISO 19011, IEC 60601-1). - Provide Comprehensive Core, Application, and Operational training on various types of Biomedical, Electrical & Electronic equipment for Engineers, Technicians, Medical Technologists, Nurses, Doctors and ancillary support service professionals to ensure effective and efficient equipment use. - Ensure Commissioning, Calibration, Preventive Maintenance, and Corrective Maintenance of various Biomedical, Electrical & Electronic equipment according to manufacturer protocols to ensure safe throughput, accurate diagnosis, effective treatment, smooth system operation, and maximum uptime, all under compliance guidelines. - Maintain & update asset inventory and safety inventories for fast moving spare parts, properly document all equipment, instruments, spare parts, and consumables. - Ensure process improvement by enhancing process re-engineering & integrity, maximizing performance, optimizing cost, safety awareness, implement Quality Management System (QMS), Quality Risk Management System (QRM) to have strategic planning & accomplishments for achieving organizational goal. - Ensure appropriate engineering tools, calibration tools & kits for Biomedical, Electrical & Electronic workshop & working environment to resolve service issues efficiently & effectively. - Implement MRP (Material Requirement Planning) and JIT (Just in Time) strategies to manage inventory, warehouse, and logistics support, ensuring the availability of different products at the site precisely when the previous ones reach the end of their life. - Ensure safety protocols for Biomedical, Electrical, and Mechanical hazards according to national and international safety standards, prioritizing the safety of Patients, Engineering professionals, Medical professionals, and other ancillary support staff. - Monitor, record & review daily activities and service requests for various types of Biomedical, Electrical & Electronic equipment, taking necessary measures to resolve issues and ensure smooth functionality. - Hospital facility design (e.g. OT, ICU, CCU, NICU, HDU, Emergency, Laboratory, CSSD, Gas Plant, RO plant, Oxygen Plant, Vacuum Plant, Cabins and various equipment rooms, etc.) - Ensure Pre-Service & Post-Service for various types of Biomedical, Electrical & Electronic equipment. - Ensure the integrity & effective internal communication within various departments, hospitals, vendors and manufacturers both nationally & internationally to work effectively & efficiently. - Monitor warranty supports, contractual supports (e.g. Comprehensive Maintenance Contract (CMC), Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) & on-call supports) as agreed by both the manufacturer and Customer. - Optimize energy consumption, waste management, and environmental sustainability initiatives. - Recommendations for space, medical equipment, technology, and other resources to support the facility management and safety structure are provided to hospital leadership. - Plan & develop Facility management and safety programs for safety, security, hazardous materials and waste, fire safety, medical equipment, utility systems, emergency and disaster management and construction and renovation. - Ensure the facility management and safety programs are fully implemented evaluated and monitored. - Ensure Staff and others are trained on the facility management programs.
