Responsibilities: Provide professional and technical capacity building opportunities for the 4 cluster National Red Cross Societies (Sierra Leone, Liberia, Guinea and Guinea Bissau), clearly aligned with IFRC Strategy 2030 and National Society Development Framework of 2013. Focal person for leadership development initiatives, Risk Management, Youth and Volunteer, Protection, Gender and Inclusion (PGI) focal person for the Freetown Country Cluster delegation. Provide technical support to National Societies' fund-raising opportunities through tailored IFRC Capacity Building Fund (CBF) seed grants (Empress Shoken, National Society Initiative Assistance (NSIA), Disaster Response and Emergency Fund, Emergency Plan of Action) and other funding opportunities. Build and strengthen two - way communication means with staff managing National Societies/organisational development and the movement partners operating in Sierra Leone, Liberia, Guinea and Guinea Bissau. Achievements: Developed five-year' Strategic and National Society Development plans for 4 National Societies. Developed One-Country Plan, Unified plans for Sierra Leone, Guinea, Liberia and Guinea Bissau Red Cross Societies through a comprehensive process. Facilitated the implementation of all plans to about 40% for all 4 National Societies with 2 years' period. Increased funding to 63% for Organisation development for all 4 National Societies. Strengthened coordination between the four National Red Cross Societies, Partner National Societies (PNSs) in the four countries and the IFRC Cluster office. This improved planning, collaboration and enhanced projects/programmes implementation. Facilitated and developed Volunteer and Youth Management policies for all National Societies. Developed PGI and Safeguarding policies for Sierra Leone and Liberia. Facilitated the development of Sexual, Gender Based Violence complaint mechanisms in all National Societies. In collaboration with National Societies’ technical team, developed quarterly and annual Monitoring and Evaluation plans. Conducted regular quarterly monitoring visits to all four National Societies. Findings informed further review of plans and required actions from Senior Management of the National Societies and the IFRC cluster/regional office. Led the conduct of Organisational Capacity Assessment Certification (OCAC) for all 4 four National Societies. This process informed the development of National Society Development Plans. Developed functional Grievance Redress and Complaint Mechanisms in affected communities during disaster and emergency response. Conducted Branch Development Capacity Assessment (BOCA) for all four national societies. Developed Risk Management systems for the IFRC cluster office and all four National Societies. Facilitated the conduct and completion of updated external financial audits for Guinea, Guinea Bissau and Liberia National Red Cross Societies. Negotiated a ten million United States dollar (UD $10,000,000.00) grant from Global Climate Change Fund (GCF) through African Development Bank for the Liberia Red Cross Society. Strengthened the skills of National Governing Boards of the four National Societies in governance, humanitarian diplomacy, auxiliary roles, financial management and resource mobilisation. This resulted into increased fund raising by Governing Boards and strengthened their relationships with governments, communities and internal donor partners/organisations.

Take full responsibility for executing and reporting on the National Commission for Social Action (NaCSA) Performance Targets in Bombali and Western area districts for Regional and HQ consolidation and presentation to the Strategic Policy Unit at the State House. Lead the implementation of all Social Safety Net (SSN) activities – payment delivery, behavioural change workshops, setting up of Complaint and Grievance redress systems and support community engagement. Coordinate the implementation of social and economic opportunities programmes within the districts and the implementation of technical assistance/support to local councils. Facilitate linkages of SSN beneficiary households with other NaCSA projects and Social Services provided by the Government f Sierra Leone (GoSL), donors and other Agencies in the districts. Harmonise SSN specific activities with generic NaCSA District Coordinator roles and responsibilities. Achievements: Led the implementation of the World Bank Social Safety Net (SSN) programmes in the Bombali and Western area districts. Trained 210 Social Protection Volunteers (SPVs) in Bombali district on Cash Transfer Programming. Facilitated communities and stakeholders' engagement in the two districts. This increased the involvement and participation of community members in the SSN project activities. Led and strengthened the management and coordination of local and government partners (Local Councils, Anti-Corruption, National Commission for People with Disability (PWDs), Ministry of Social Welfare and Civil Society Organisations) in Bombali and the Western area districts. Supervised Emergency Cash Transfer (ECT) to 25000 PWDs and other vulnerable groups in Bombali and the Western area districts. Established Grievance Compliant and Redress Mechanisms in all targeted communities for beneficiaries and stakeholders on the ECT programme. Developed and managed budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of funds to support district activities. Coordinated district-level initiatives to enhance program delivery and community engagement. Managed communication between stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and timelines. Streamlined reporting processes, improving data accuracy and accessibility for decision-making.

Responsibilities: Provide leadership in the management and implementation of the ECRHS project in Bombali, Koinadugu, Karene and Kambia districts of an annual operational budget of about $1,000,000 funded by German Government (KfW) and managed by CARE international. SHFI funded by USAID/JSI. Coordinate and collaborate with the District Health Management Teams, the Bombali, Koinadugu, Karene and Kambia District Councils, Facility Management Committees (FMCs), Village Development Committees (VDCs), Mother –to- mothers' groups in 146 Peripheral Health Units, communities and other health stakeholders within Bombali district. Ensure the communities' involvement and contribution to conduct Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance (M/PM) of PHUs in Bombali district. Achievements: Strengthened coordination between community stakeholders and the District Health Management Teams in the targeted districts. Improved accountability in Health Management system at community levels in targeted districts using Community Score Card (CSC) tool. Facilitated the development of Facility Improvement Action Plans (FIAPs) for PHUs in 14 chiefdoms in Bombali district. Trained 100 communities on the prevention, control, reporting and management of epidemic prone diseases. 780 Community Health Workers (CHWs) in 100 communities in Bombali and Karene districts developed skills in conducting referrals, community mobilisation and Community Based Surveillance. 60 Women VSLA groups developed skills in Basic Financial Management, Enterprenuership and Leadership. 700 Women of the VSLA groups established individual micro businesses.
