Worked as a Senior Consultant on the marine conservation project implemented by ADEL Sofala with funding from WWF, in the coastal districts of Sofala and Zambézia. The project aimed to promote participatory and sustainable management of marine resources, through institutional strengthening, community capacity building and conservation of marine biodiversity. Responsibilities included the technical coordination of activities, developing work plans, facilitating coordination between local and national actors, supporting the creation of fishing exclusion zones and boosting community co-management processes. Led training actions with CGCRNs and CCPs on sustainable fishing, conservation and gender inclusion; as well as environmental awareness campaigns and the introduction of sustainable economic alternatives such as beekeeping and fish processing.
