Dr. Vonna Lou Caleb Drayton is a Fulbright Specialist with more than two decades of experience executing public health research, evaluation, and assessments for state and federal policies, projects, and programs for agencies such as the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). She serves as a Federal Grant Reviewer and a peer reviewer for the Maternal and Child Health Journal. An epidemiologist by training, she is a subject matter expert on research and evaluation and maternal and child health. Dr. Drayton authors and reviews academic and research papers that support the progress, goals, and objectives of new and existing programs; and engages stakeholders in project planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of activities. A graduate of Loma Linda University, Dr. Drayton is an Adjunct Professor at The George Washington University and the Principal of Caldray Consulting LLC.
