Consortium WASH Technical Coordinator

Technical Support • In liaison with the Project Director provide direct technical support to WASH consortium partners to ensure quality, appropriate and timely implementation of WASH Sector interventions in the project. • Work with the WASH consortium Partners on WASH related strategies, ensuring that the interventions are adequately layered with other DAWAM project components and activities. • Support, facilitate or undertake communication and advocacy activities for the WASH component of the DAWAM Project in consultation with consortium partners. • Provide technical expertise on all WASH activities and work closely with DAWAM project WASH staff to follow up on agreed learnings and actions. • Ensure that all DAWAM WASH partners adhere to and comply with donor guidelines and policies to avoid ineligible costs and risks to project implementation. Monitoring and reporting • Work closely with DAWAM project M&E and Reporting Manager to develop reporting tools, ToRs, design baseline, assessment and end line tools and review reports to ensure data on all WASH indicators is collected, analyzed and reported in all project locations. • Ensure regular monitoring of WASH activities under the DAWAM project to ensure the project is on track and is according to developed technical designs, standards and timelines. • Consolidate reports from all consortium WASH partners in close collaboration with the M&E and provide regular updates on progress Coordination • Lead regular technical programmatic review meetings at the PMU level. • Provide support in strengthening collaboration between WASH Partners and other DAWAM project Sectors to enhance integration and coordination for greater overall impact • Participate in DAWAM project WASH sector implementation strategy meetings and ensure all partners comply with agreed work plans and key actions. Represent the consortium and coordinate with MRRD, consortium partner staff and other peer organizations to ensure a well-coordinated and harmonized approach for project delivery of outcomes and outputs

West Regional Coordinator

• Provide overall coordination with relevant project stakeholders in WEST region • Provided overall support for the implementation of the projects in the region, provinces and districts • Over speed activities of all CSO partners within the region • Liaised with NCA technical experts to support CSO technical focal persons • Organized meetings with project stakeholders whenever required • Prepared monthly and quarterly reports • Coordinates with and reports to overall response manager for direction, strategies, activities, updates, problem-solving, etc. • Oversees overall NCA response and recovery interventions in Herat, in coordination with overall response manager based in Kabul. • Planning, implementation and management of all engineering activities • Ensures through the team leaders that activities of their teams are moving according to timeline. • Ensures NCA’s representation and attendance to the appropriate UN clusters in Herat. • Overall response for Shelter and Solar, NFI/WASH/PSS Lead, and Community Kitchen Lead • Under take regular field visits to project provinces and districts. • Provided oversight to the data collection processes of M&E officers • Shared results of field monitoring visits with the Project Coordinator. • Supported in the identification of challenges and constraints encountered during project delivery • Organized lessons learned workshops and documents project experience in collaboration with the communications officers.

Project coordinator

• WASH Project Coordination and Management • Coordinated closely with the Zone managers and WASH Sector Lead and Zonal Wash advisors to ensure timely implementation of the project. • Coordinated activity planning, activity implementation and logistics. Manage and lead the WASH staffs in Herat and Badghis provinces. • Worked with the project staff in Badghis and Herat for the proper and timely implementation of the project. • Managed the Hygiene kits related activities, planning, receipt, and storage in warehouse, and all distribution related tasks. • With the help of the Zonal manager and WASH Advisors, coordinate with WASH Engineers and WASH Facilitators on implementation of the WASH activities in Badghis and Herat. • Ensured all project operations are implemented as per the WASH Cluster and WV’s standards. • Provided guidance to the WASH Facilitators on hygiene kits distribution and hygiene promotion. Provide guidance to the WASH Engineers in both project target location • Reporting, Administration and financial: • Prepared plan and report of the activities progression and submit to the zonal manager. Create and present monthly summaries of project activities to the zonal managers in concerned province. • Ensured that monitoring and information management tools are up to date and contain all relevant information. • Developed provincial procurement plan and monitor procurement status of all project items. Coordinate activities of all staff under the project. • Organize and supervise the hygiene kits distributions in the field. Organize and supervised the WASH activities in the field. • Ensured the BoQs and estimation prepared by the WASH engineers are based on the project available budget • . • Reviewed the project financial report and provide feedbacks if there is any mischarging happened. Ensure pre and post- test are administered during the training sessions, results analyzed and training reports prepared and submitted.
