Structural Engineer

Construction Engineer

• Survey of Sub Community projects. • Preparing of technical proposals (Drawing, BOQ, Work Plan, SOW and technical Specification) for different Community Base Projects (Water Supply, Hand Pump, Building, School, Community Center, Clinic, Transportation (Bridge, Culvert, Retaining Wall and Protection Wall) and Irrigation (Canal, Water Divider, Spell Way , Water control gates and Siphon,). • Supervision and Monitoring of Ongoing projects. • Site visit of ongoing projects. • Implementations of project direct in work Site According to Drawings and Scope of work. • Manage and Control of work and Materials Quality in the site According to Drawings, Technical Specification and Scope of work. • Providing of daily, weekly and monthly work report to main Office. • Providing of Projects work progresses Report for process of Millstones. • Providing of Projects Completion report. • Conducting of Technical trainings for project sub-contractors (Grantees) administrative persons to improve capacity building purposes.

Structural Engineer

• As technical focal point in Logar province for IRC • Monitoring from the construction work of 600 NSP sub projects • Responsible for the plan and supervision of 2 senior engineers and 15 field engineers • Responsible for the technical issues of more than 800 NSP sub projects • Conducting of technical, Monitoring & Evaluation , Operation and maintenance and Infrastructure Project Implementation training of projects for more than 458 communities • Grant reporting from each of 458 communities • Checking for the community sub projects proposals that are prepared by engineers • Modular design of technical, M&E and O & M training for the CDCs • Conducting of proposal writing and M&E trainings for government staff • Weekly and monthly report to the senior Engineering manager • As Acting provincial manager during his absence

Site Lab Engineer

• Checking the specification of the project specification summarizing of testing frequency and specification. • Entry and calculation of laboratory tests raw data. • Registration of samples to sample register. • Assigning duties and responsibilities to senior technicians. • Checking the working condition of all equipment to be in best working conditions and making sure that all equipment have updated and valid calibration certificates. • Controlling all lab testing to be performed in strict compliance with AASHTO, ASTM or any other internationally recognized standard. • Preparation of Hot Mix Asphalt Mix Design. • Preparation of Aggregate Base Couse & Surface Course Mix Designs. • Training of Technicians to improve capacity building. • Supervision of Geotechnical investigation and field sampling and preparation of Geotechnical investigation • Checking the specification of the projects and in light of project specification summarizing of testing frequency and specification.

Civil Site Engineer

• Check the drawings and documents used at site for approvals and compliance with project requirements. • Ensure that all the work is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications. • Ensure that all the equipment’s used at site are calibrated and with valid certificates. • Prepare weekly surveillance reports, non-conformance reports and verification of corrective actions. • Prepare daily QA/QC report regarding inspections, materials and non-conformance etc. • Reviewing of inspection requests with concerned project Engineers of contractor. • To conduct the inspections for all Construction material deliveries. • To attend all the electrical inspections with contractor QA/QC Engineers. • To conduct the inspection for all ongoing activities. • Checking the working condition of all equipment to be in best working conditions
