Professional Bio – Jim Kire Dopo Jim Kire Dopo is a Principal Environmental Consultant, Policy Advisor, and National ESHS Specialist with over two decades of experience leading biodiversity assessments, environmental safeguards, and compliance-ready reporting across Papua New Guinea and the Pacific. He is the founder of Crystal Green Geochemical Services (CGGS), a consulting firm recognized for delivering strategic, multi-audience frameworks that integrate global standards, local knowledge, and cultural values. Jim has successfully designed and delivered more than 30 major projects in health, education, mining, infrastructure, and conservation sectors. His clients include the World Bank, Asian Development Bank (ADB), Conservation and Environment Protection Authority (CEPA), and Vodafone, among others. He is known for orchestrating procurement strategies, stakeholder engagement, and compliance systems that empower contractors, communities, and decision-makers alike. With a strong academic foundation—holding a BSc (Hons) in Environmental & Water Resource Management from the University of Papua New Guinea and a BSc in Applied Chemistry from PNG University of Technology—Jim combines scientific rigor with policy insight. His career spans roles with ExxonMobil PNG Limited, Repsol/Talisman, and Transtel Engineering PNG Ltd, where he advanced environmental governance, safeguards, and sustainable development outcomes. Jim is a strategic thinker and systems designer, adept at translating complex technical, legal, and cultural findings into actionable matrices, executive summaries, and audit-ready reports. He is deeply committed to transparent governance, cultural integration, and participatory advocacy, ensuring that environmental and social safeguards are not only compliant but also meaningful to the communities they serve. Currently, Jim leads compliance frameworks for donor-funded projects such as the Ialibu Water Supply Project and positions CGGS as a trusted partner in upcoming health and infrastructure tenders. His long-term vision is to advance sustainable development and environmental governance across PNG and the Pacific through leadership, consulting, and capacity building.
