As the M&E Officer for the Promoting Accountability through Community Engagement (PACE II) Project funded by Geneva-based donors, I led project-level data management, community monitoring, and stakeholder engagement efforts to enhance TB awareness, detection, and accountability mechanisms across target communities in Lagos and the FCT. Key Responsibilities and Achievements: Developed and implemented data collection and validation systems for tracking project indicators related to TB case identification, testing, and treatment uptake. Coordinated the successful Child TB Testing Week in Lagos and Abuja, overseeing data collation from schools, communities, and children’s homes. Led advocacy and site visits to the Federal and State Ministries of Health, Labour, and Justice, as well as traditional and religious leaders, to secure political and community buy-in for project implementation. Facilitated Community-Led Monitoring (CLM) sessions to identify service delivery gaps and generate community feedback for action planning. Supported data entry, cleaning, and analysis using Excel and KoboToolbox, ensuring consistency with donor indicators and reporting templates. Prepared monthly, quarterly, and annual donor reports, summarizing key achievements, challenges, and lessons learned. Provided technical support for capacity building of local partners, data clerks, and field enumerators on data tools, reporting, and accountability mechanisms. Supported monitoring visits to project sites to ensure adherence to M&E protocols, data quality standards, and community engagement principles. Collaborated with Geneva-based donors and partners on reporting and learning reviews. Key Results: Achieved over 95% data completeness for TB community testing and screening reports. Strengthened government and community collaboration through inclusive engagement and advocacy initiatives. Enhanced visibility and accountability of the PACE II Project through timely, accurate, and comprehensive donor reporting.
I have direct experience working with major international development and financing agencies, including the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), USAID, PEPFAR, Geneva-based Donors, and Rotary International. My work has involved donor reporting, results-based monitoring, data validation, performance analysis, and ensuring compliance with donor frameworks and reporting standards across health, governance, and peacebuilding programs.
