Assignment :
Under the supervision of the Advocacy Unit Manager – Food Systems and Climate Crisis Unit, your mission will be to develop, inform, and implement advocacy efforts aimed at better protecting civilian populations from the impacts of conflict on hunger and access to aid, in accordance with International Humanitarian Law.
More specifically, your responsibilities will include:
Contributing to the unit's strategy and implementing its action plan;
providing technical analysis and advice, and contributing to the development of the organization's policy positions on the unit's themes;
contributing to the implementation of ACF's overall advocacy strategy; and
communicating internally and representing ACF externally in coordination with the unit manager.
Profile:
You hold a Master's degree in political science, international solidarity, law, or international cooperation with a focus on food systems and climate.
You have at least two years of experience in advocacy and public policy with NGOs, governments, or international organizations.
You demonstrate excellent skills in research, writing concise and persuasive advocacy materials, analyzing complex data, producing lobbying tools (letters, lobby briefs, reports, conferences, etc.), and communication (press releases, talking points, social media, etc.).
Humanitarian field experience will be considered an asset.
Organized, rigorous, and proactive, you possess excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly in English, with a strong sense of diplomacy and prioritization.
Employment conditions
Status: Integrated Manager - 6-month fixed-term contract until 28/02/2027 - Full-time
Location: Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis)
Salary: €41,000 to €50,000 gross per year over 13 months depending on experience
Benefits: 25 days of paid leave per year and 21 days of RTT
