Description
1. Background
The Peace Track Initiative (PTI) is a women-led organization working to advance inclusive peacebuilding, women's participation in peace and political processes, protection, and sustainable development in Yemen and the MENA region. Through its partnerships with civil society organizations and local actors, PTI implements projects funded by a range of international donors, producing evidence of impact, institutional learning, and community-led change.
As artificial intelligence (AI) becomes increasingly integrated into professional writing and communications, development organizations have an opportunity to improve the quality and efficiency of donor reporting and impact communication. However, the use of AI also presents challenges related to authenticity, ethical storytelling, and preserving the voices and lived experiences of the communities they serve.
PTI seeks to engage a qualified consultant to design and deliver a practical training that equips staff and partner organizations with the skills to use AI responsibly in developing high-quality donor reports, impact narratives, and success stories. The training will emphasize maintaining a human-centred approach, demonstrating project impact through credible evidence, and positioning communities as partners in change rather than passive beneficiaries.
2. Assignment Objective
The objective of this assignment is to strengthen the capacity of PTI staff and partner organizations to effectively use AI as a tool for developing high-quality donor reports, impact narratives, and communication products while preserving authenticity, strengthening evidence-based reporting, and maintaining the human voice throughout the reporting process.
3. Specific Objectives
The training should enable participants to:
Understand the opportunities and limitations of AI in donor reporting and communications.
Use AI to improve the quality and efficiency of impact reporting while maintaining authenticity and organizational voice.
Develop compelling impact narratives and success stories for both donor reporting and media products.
Strengthen skills in capturing and documenting evidence of project impact.
Demonstrate how project achievements contribute to donor priorities, localisation, good governance, institutional learning, and sustainability.
Apply ethical approaches to storytelling that recognize communities as partners and agents of change.

Review sample donor reports and communication materials (where available).

Module 1: Understanding Impact Reporting
Understanding donor expectations for impact reporting.
Moving beyond activity reporting to outcomes and impact.
Linking project achievements to donor objectives and expected results.
Demonstrating meaningful change through evidence.
Module 2: AI for Impact Reporting and Storytelling
