Founded in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights hunger worldwide. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection, and treatment of undernutrition, particularly during and after emergencies related to conflicts and natural disasters. Assignment :
Reporting to the Director of Communications and Development, your main mission will be to define and implement ACF's communications strategy at the national and international levels, in order to:
Promote ACF's awareness and image among various audiences;
Contribute to the reach and influence of messages and advocacy campaigns;
Support the various fundraising channels;
Position ACF as a key player in humanitarian crises and the fight against hunger, ensuring an ACFIN approach and strategic collaborations with country missions.
More specifically, your missions will be to:
Lead the Communications Department and manage a team of 20 people;
Design and implement the communications strategy and action plan;
Contribute to the success of fundraising strategies;
Communicate with and represent ACF and ACF IN externally;
Propose, test, and develop innovations related to the ACF communications strategy;
Actively contribute to cooperation and integration with the ACFIN network;
Support country missions in developing their communications capacity to place ACF at the heart of current events.
Profile:
You hold a Master's degree in Communication with at least 10 years of experience in a similar position,
You have proven experience in NGOs in the international solidarity sector,
You have experience coordinating communication expertise centers within an international network,
You know how to work on multiple issues simultaneously, and have a very good capacity for strategic alignment,
You are fluent in spoken and written English.
Employment conditions
Status: Integrated Manager, Grade 3 - Permanent Contract - Full-time
Location: Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis)
Salary: €61,000 to €69,000 gross per year over 13 months depending on experience
Seniority bonus after 3 years of service at headquarters (For permanent positions)
Benefits: 25 days of paid leave per year and 21 days of RTT
(reduced working time) Health and life insurance coverage: 80% covered by ACF
Salary maintenance schemes (illness, maternity, paternity)
Transportation allowance: 50% reimbursement of the
daily rate between home and work
Meal vouchers (Up Lunch Card):
60% covered by the association for a value of €8 Works

Remote work: Remote work open to all employees within metropolitan France.
A mandatory presence at headquarters of 4 days per month has been defined for this position.
Mandatory in-person attendance required by the employer: for meetings and team events (up to 3 days per month) and 2 days of mandatory attendance upon joining the team.
