Description
A consulting team is being formed for a planned end-of-project evaluation of a labour-intensive maintenance and Cash-for-Work project in Jordan. The evaluation will assess the project’s contribution to improving livelihoods, supporting vulnerable Jordanians and Syrian refugees, and improving the learning environment in public schools.
The assignment will use a mixed-methods approach. It will include quantitative phone surveys, key informant interviews, focus group discussions, desk review, and triangulation of findings from different sources. The final outputs will include cleaned datasets, analysis tables, visual summaries, a final evaluation report, and presentations.
The Data Analyst / Evaluation Support Specialist will support the evaluation team in cleaning, organizing, analyzing, and presenting quantitative and qualitative data. The role will include working with survey data, supporting thematic analysis of qualitative information, preparing tables and charts, and helping the team turn evidence into clear findings.
The position requires someone with strong attention to detail, good analytical thinking, and the ability to work with both numbers and narrative data. The analyst should be comfortable working under tight timelines and should be able to prepare clean, well-structured outputs that can feed directly into the evaluation report and presentation.
The assignment is expected to take place during the period July to September 2026. The level of effort will be confirmed based on the final evaluation workplan.

Organize qualitative notes, transcripts, and translated summaries.

Support triangulation between survey findings, KIIs, FGDs, desk review, and project documents.
Help prepare findings that are evidence-based, clear, and linked to the evaluation questions.
Support the drafting of analytical sections of the report, where needed.
Prepare clean and anonymized datasets for final submission.
Support documentation of data cleaning and analysis steps.
Support the preparation of preliminary findings presentations.
Support the preparation of final results presentations.
Work closely with the Evaluation Manager, Data Collection Supervisor, and Graphic Designer to ensure that data, visuals, and findings are accurate and consistent.
Carry out any other analysis or research support tasks requested by the evaluation team.
