Description
A Desk Manager for the Save the Children mission in Mauritania to ensure the smooth operation of the mission/office by monitoring the security context, coordinating the different departments and areas of the mission, and representing the institution.
❗At least 5 years of experience in similar positions.
‼️Knowledge and experience in project and team management in the Sahel region.
🥇Screening based on years of experience in similar positions, university and postgraduate qualifications requested and advanced level of French and English (Spanish is a plus).
📋Written test to assess technical knowledge of the position.
👩💻Interview with the People and Organizational Development (HR) contact person.
👧🏽Interview with the person responsible for the position (Director of International Programs) and with the Mission Coordinator at headquarters level.

FUNCTIONS
To ensure the good technical management of the interventions promoted by SCE within the framework of its own procedures and systems and those of SCI, guaranteeing synergies with all internal actors (Cooperation, other departments, SCI and other SC members) and external actors involved.
Ensure the monitoring, reconciliation and integration of the technical data sent by the Mauritania Field Office.
Ensure compliance with donor regulations and the correct reporting, justification, and requirements of interventions carried out in a timely manner.
Prepare periodic reports on the overall technical status of international cooperation operations.
Coordinate and communicate development cooperation actions with field offices, SCI and other member countries.
Any other function, typical of their professional category, that is entrusted to them by their immediate supervisor.
💰Approximately €33,837 gross per year.
