Assignment :
Under the supervision of the Emergency Preparedness and Operations Lead, your role will be to lead and coordinate all Finance activities necessary to provide a rapid and high-quality emergency response during deployments. You will also contribute to the development of the Finance function in emergency response and ensure the financial monitoring of the emergency unit.
While deployed, your responsibilities will include:
Contributing to the definition of the mission's emergency response strategy;
Ensuring accurate accounting of the emergency intervention and cash flow;
Supervising the Emergency Finance teams;
Coordinating internal and external partnerships;
Preventing and managing situations of fraud and corruption.
At headquarters, your responsibilities will include:
Finalizing and deploying all emergency preparedness and response tools, as well as Finance tools for opening Country Offices;
Ensuring the financial management of the Emergency unit;
Contributing to the development of Finance tools for emergency response and opening Country Offices.
During deployments, you will manage the Finance team in the country of deployment; at headquarters there is no team to manage.
The priority of this position will be to contribute to the deployment of the Emergency Finance system (currently being finalized) across regions and Country Offices. It will also involve handling the financial aspects of project submissions for the emergency unit at the beginning of 2026 and ensuring the proper financial closure of the 2025 fiscal year.
These priorities will be reviewed should an emergency deployment occur during the first two months.

Profile:
You hold an advanced degree in financial management, complemented by experience in humanitarian intervention.
You have proven experience in finance coordination roles and/or in developing finance strategies. Experience in field operations/country launches is an asset.
Throughout your career, you have demonstrated strong team management and written and oral communication skills.
You are fluent in both spoken and written English and French. Proficiency in other languages such as Arabic, Spanish, and Portuguese is an asset.
Knowledge of SAGA accounting software is an asset.
Employment conditions
Subject to financial validation.
Status: Integrated Manager - 6-month fixed-term contract until 06/30/2026 - Full-time.
Location: Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis).
Salary: From €41K to €50K gross per year over 13 months depending on experience.
Benefits: 25 days of paid leave per year and 21 days of RTT (
reduced working time). Health and life insurance coverage:
