Mission :
Reporting to the Deputy Country Director for Operations, your main mission will be to coordinate ACF's interventions and implement activities related to the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) response in your area of operation, and to provide support, remotely or on-site (local travel), to all bases within the intervention zone (Ituri).
More specifically, your responsibilities will include:
Coordinating and leading the implementation of ACF's country strategy for the EVD response in Lita;
Coordinating all EVD program implementations in the field
; Managing teams;
Supporting provincial coordination through travel to other bases in Ituri to cover the needs of the intervention zone for the EVD response;
Representing ACF and maintaining relationships with partners, authorities, UN agencies, and NGOs in your area of operation;
Ensuring reporting and communication; and
Managing the safety and security of the base in the context of the Ebola epidemic.
Profile :
You have a generalist or technical background (Master's degree or equivalent) from a business school, political science program, or higher education degree related to ACF activities.
You have proven experience coordinating a base and holding positions of significant responsibility.
You are experienced in security management in volatile environments, particularly in areas affected by epidemics such as Ebola.
You are fluent in written and spoken French. Written and spoken English is desirable.
You know how to manage and implement a continuous operational monitoring mechanism and are proficient in the project cycle.
You have the ability to analyze contexts (security, humanitarian, etc.).
You know how to unite program and support teams around common goals.
Prior experience with ACF is a plus.
Employment conditions:
Position pending budget approval.
Mpox vaccination is recommended for employees travelling to this country.
Fixed-term contract under French law: 6 months starting September 1, 2026.
Gross monthly salary: €2,597 to €2,968 depending on experience, including a 13th-month bonus.
Retirement insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens: 16% of gross monthly salary.
Base salary increase: 6% every 12 months of continuous contract.
Monthly per diem and living expenses: USD 1,105 net, paid on-site.
Monthly context allowance: €450.
Child allowance: €1,500 per year per child present in the country of origin (capped at €6,000/year).
Travel and shared accommodation provided.
Medical coverage: 100% coverage of health insurance contributions and repatriation insurance, and your medical expenses for up to 1 month after the end of your contract.
Salary maintenance provisions (illness, maternity, paternity).
Leave and R&R: 25 days per year of CP and 20 RnR per year; cover of the ticket with a ceiling to travel to the chosen break zone, and 215 euros of flat-rate allowance per RnR
