Who are we looking for?

The Tree of Life Foundation ETS is looking for a Grant Manager to be included in the Management Control Area who, in collaboration with the Programs Area and the Administration Area, will deal with the search for new design and financing opportunities by institutional subjects, ensuring the correct management of financing, reporting, ensuring compliance with regulations and contractual obligations.

Main activities:

• Manage the entire life cycle of financing, from the preparation of proposals to the final reporting.

• Ensure that all funded projects comply with the regulations of the main funders (AICS, OCHA, ECHO, Ministry of the Interior, European Commission, UNICEF, IOM, etc.).

• Coordinate the preparation of financial and technical reports, in line with the deadlines set by the donors.

• Support project teams in budgeting, spending forecasting, and financial planning.

• Monitor the implementation of projects to ensure the effectiveness of the use of funds.

• Maintain relationships with funders, responding to requests for information, audits and verifications.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience gained in the role;

• Degree in Economics, Political Science, International Relations or similar;

• Proven experience in the administrative and financial management of financiers such as AICS, OCHA, ECHO, Ministry of the Interior, European Commission, UNICEF, IOM etc.

• Experience in the preparation and management of project budgets and in the drafting of financial reports;

• Excellent knowledge of the rules and regulations relating to the management of public and international funds;

• Willingness to travel on the national and international territory;

• Excellent knowledge of English (spon and written);

• Knowledge of Spanish and/or French will be a plus;

• Experience in writing project proposals for major funders will be considered a plus;

• Adherene to the vision and mission of The Tree of Life and to our Child Safeguarding policy.

Hiring: CCNL Commerce, full time 38 hours, salary range RAL €28,000/€30,000 (further details on the duration of the contract and salary level will be discussed and confirmed during the interview and based on the experience of the identified candidate).

Place of work: Central Offices in Milan with trips to national and international territory.

Start date: immediate availability is required (by March 2025).
