Job description

WeWorld is seeking a worker to support the job placement process for people who contact the Women's Space in Milan and young NEETs, acting as a liaison between the service and local organizations that provide guidance, vocational training, active labor market policies, and matching supply and demand.

The resource will be responsible for supporting individuals in defining their professional projects, enhancing their skills and potential, and facilitating access to the most suitable job opportunities.

Spazio Donna is a day center offering welcome, socialization, support, and guidance to women in vulnerable situations who often experience violence.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The operator will carry out the following tasks under the supervision of the Women's Space Coordinator:

• Conducting individual orientation and job placement interviews.

• Support in drafting, reviewing, and updating CVs.

• Collection, evaluation and pre-selection of applications

• Identifying job opportunities best suited to user profiles.

• Submitting applications, monitoring results, and following up with the organizations involved.

• Scouting and developing relationships with local companies, cooperatives, and other organizations interested in job placements and/or internships for vulnerable individuals.

• Develop and manage partnerships with accredited employment agencies, employment agencies, businesses, and local services to facilitate the matching of supply and demand.

• Support through the various stages of accessing the job market and monitoring of the processes implemented.

• Management of the bureaucratic process for starting potential internships

• Constant communication with the Spazio Donna multidisciplinary team is essential for defining and updating individualized projects.

• Mapping and updating training and employment opportunities in the Milan area

Position requirements

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in humanities/social sciences

• Knowledge of the main measures, services, and actors in the Milanese labor market

• Good knowledge of IT tools and the main job search portals

• Knowledge of issues related to women's empowerment and the intercultural and intersectional approach

Professional experiences

• At least 2-3 years of experience in the field of orientation and job placement of people in vulnerable conditions

• Experience in collaborating with social services, training institutions and employment agencies

Skills and abilities

• High listening and empathic relationship skills

• Ability to build and maintain relationships with local networks and stakeholders

• Strong interpersonal and involvement/activation skills for individuals and groups

• Ability to work in a team, proactivity, dynamism, critical thinking and ability to work towards objectives and within deadlines

• Sensitivity and adaptability to different cultural, gender, religious, ethnic, national and age contexts

• Accuracy, reliability and planning ability

• Strong commitment to WeWorld's mission and sincere interest in international cooperation and development issues

WHAT WE OFFER

Contract type: co.co.co/VAT number

Financial conditions: salary starting from €17.26 gross/hour to be defined based on experience and contract type

Availability required : 20 hours per month
