Olive Branch is an independent, non-profit civil society organization that aims to promote social development and economic empowerment. Its mission is to strengthen individuals and communities by helping them overcome challenges, enhance their resilience, and creatively utilize their resources.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Program Design & Strategy:

   • Develop technical guidance for protection programming in line with best practices and the context.

   • Provide technical input into proposal development and programmatic strategy to ensure high-quality protection outcomes.

2. Technical Oversight:

   • Ensure the technical soundness and integration of protection within all program activities.

   • Monitor the adherence to protection standards and guidelines by field teams.

3. Capacity Strengthening:

   • Develop and facilitate training and mentoring sessions for staff on protection principles and practices.

   • Support the development of training materials and resources for protection programming.

4. Coordination & Networking:

   • Engage with partners, donors, and other stakeholders to promote protection priorities and integration into broader humanitarian efforts.

   • Represent the organization in relevant forums, working groups, and coordination meetings as required.

5. Monitoring & Evaluation:

   • Collaborate with the M&E team to develop protection indicators and monitoring plans.

   • Analyze data and reports to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for program improvement.

Qualifications:

• Degree in social sciences, law, human rights, or a related field.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a technical role focusing on protection in humanitarian contexts.

• Comprehensive understanding of protection principles, frameworks, and international humanitarian law.

• Good level of English with strong analytical, writing, and communication skills. And fluent in Arabic language.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with the capacity to learn and use other software as needed.
