About: Action against Hunger

Created in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights hunger in the world. Its charter of humanitarian principles - independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency - has been the basis of its identity for 45 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, especially during and after emergency situations related to conflicts and natural disasters. Action against Hunger coordinates its programs around 7 areas of activity: Nutrition and Health - Mental Health, Psychosocial Support - Food Security and Livelihoods - Water, Sanitation and Hygiene - Advocacy - Climate - Research. Mission:

Under the supervision of the Field Coordinator, your mission will be to identify and implement quality, relevant and innovative SMSP interventions in compliance with the strategy, ACF and international standards and national policies.
In this context, your responsibilities will be to:
Feed the reflection on the strategy and positioning of the SMSP department
Identify needs and contribute to the formulation of projects
Ensure the implementation, monitoring and reporting of SMSP projects
Contribute to the Quality and Accountability processes and the program's impact measurement
Participate in coordination, representation and ACF partnerships in the area of intervention
Supervise and manage your teams
Contribute to capitalization and technical development within the sector
Guarantee and ensure the confidentiality of data collected during SMSP activities

Profile:

Holder of a diploma in psychology, psychiatrist or psychomotor therapist, you have at least 2 years of experience in these fields, including clinical experience, in team management and in humanitarian work.
You have already worked in the evaluation and implementation of PM+ and TeamUp approaches, and you have project management and training skills.
Particularly attentive, you have a sense of confidentiality, good communication and good interpersonal relationships, as well as the ability to adapt.
You have a good knowledge of French and/or English, orally and in writing.

Conditions of employment

Fixed-term contract under French law: 6 months
Gross monthly salary: from 2130 to 2475 euros depending on experience, including 13th month
Pension insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens: 16% of the gross monthly salary
Basic salary increase: 6% every 12 months of continuous contract
Per diem and monthly living expenses: 767 euros net, paid on the ground
Monthly context allowance: 300 euros
Child allowance: 1500 euros per year and per child present in the country of origin (ceiling of 6000 euros/year)
Transportation and housing: Travel support and collective housing
Medical Coverage: 100% of the coverage of health contributions and repatriation insurance, your medical expenses up to 1 month after the end of your contract
Wage maintenance schemes (illness, maternity, paternity)
Leave and RnR: 25 days per year of CP and 20 RnR per year; support of the ticket with ceiling to go to the chosen break area, and 215 euros of flat-rate allowance per RnR
