Senior Fundraiser Corporates
A creative, results-oriented and ambitious Senior Fundraiser
We are looking for a Senior Corporate Fundraiser to generate revenue and reduce costs to maximize our impact on children affected by conflict. In this role, you will leverage knowledge, data, continuous testing, and excellent relationship management to inspire partners, strengthen relationships, and grow our partner and friend base. You will recruit new corporate partners, maintain and expand long-term relationships, and manage your own focus area within the corporate fundraising team. You will be part of War Child Netherlands and work under the supervision of the Head of Corporate & Major Donor Fundraising.
Co-develop and implement the fundraising strategy and annual plan
Actively contribute to the development of the fundraising strategy and annual plan for the Corporate & Major Donor Fundraising team.
Applying market, sector, and company analyses and defining valuable insights for the development of propositions, pitch decks, campaigns, and events in collaboration with marketing and communications specialists and other team members.
Translate the fundraising strategy into a well-founded annual plan with concrete activities in collaboration with the other team members and the Head of Corporate & Major Donor Fundraising.
Developing and implementing new business and innovation activities that lead to growth and diversification of fundraising.
Providing and monitoring reliable reporting and analysis on progress, revenue and Return on Investment (ROI).
Acquisition of new business & increasing the share of wallet of existing relationships
Focus on exploring and creating new markets and opportunities for large (strategic) partnerships through proactive networking. This includes encouraging collaboration between national and international fundraising teams to leverage opportunities across national borders.
Able to translate prospects' needs into attractive (strategic) partnership agreements and thus conclude new (strategic) corporate partnerships from €100K;
Giving (pitch) presentations to potential companies, during corporate events for existing clients and/or for the internal organization.
Database management & marketing automation
Ensure that account information and fundraising methods are up to date in our internal systems and available to the entire team.
Develop (in collaboration with other team members) proposals to improve the overall CRM process.
Extensive experience in corporate fundraising, business development and strategic account management;
Excellent commercial, communication and presentation skills in Dutch and English;
Skills in stakeholder management at different levels, both internal and external;
Commercial insight & mindset and strong analytical skills;
Extensive business network. Preferably at C-level in the Netherlands or abroad;
Experience with Salesforce, or another CRM system, is a plus;
Demonstrable affinity with the non-profit sector is an advantage;
Experience
Minimum 5 years of work experience.
Salary ranges from €4,135-€5,142 gross per month, based on 40 hours per week (the exact amount is determined by the years of your relevant work experience);
8% holiday allowance based on the annual salary;
An employment contract for 32-40 hours;
29 days of vacation per year on a full-time basis (of which 3 pre-determined days off);
A pension scheme fully paid by War Child Netherlands;
Net contribution to home work and travel expenses according to our hybrid work policy;
Monthly mobile phone allowance of €25 net per month;
