About the Project
The Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) digital therapeutics (DTx) program is focused on supporting self-management skills for diabetes and mental wellbeing. The project aims to leverage a combination of DTx mobile applications, therapeutic patient education and capacity building to provide accessible, person-centred and culturally relevant care and support to patients in humanitarian and low-resource settings. The program is being coordinated by the MSF Sweden Innovation Unit in partnership with various teams across the movement supported by technical vendors, and research partners.
Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Project Coordinator to cover a maternity leave starting September 2025. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the continuity and effectiveness of a growing digital therapeutics portfolio. This position offers the opportunity to work in a mission-driven environment with a team passionate about improving access to care through inclusive innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder Coordination and Communication
Lead coordination with external tech vendor
Maintain and strengthen relationships with key MSF stakeholders, including country program teams, HQ advisors, and relevant working groups
Facilitate regular coordination meetings and updates across project partners
Prepare clear and concise reports and presentations for MSF leadership and external funders
Project Continuity and Process Management
Lead project planning
Ensure continuity of established project workflows and documentation
Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance project processes
Document and share project learnings to inform scale-up and replication in further MSF project contexts
Team Support
Coordinate with SIU team members leading data analysis, operational research and patient education for implementation and strategic decision making and technical updates to the DTx app
Support continued and timely delivery on distinct project verticals
Share progress and learnings amongst team members
Manage consultants assigned to project, and/or identify the need and scope for technical consultants, as needed
Project Related Capacity Building
Coordinate and delivery learning and capacity building of project teams associated with DTx implementation sites
Vendor and Technical Liaison
Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for the technical vendor supporting the DTx mobile app portfolio
Coordinate feature updates, troubleshoot implementation challenges, and ensure alignment with user needs and program goals
Identify opportunities for optimization of development processes with vendor
Lead any necessary contracting updates
Qualifications
Essential
Minimum 5 years' experience leading or coordinating complex projects in global health, humanitarian health, or digital health settings
Demonstrated ability to manage multi-stakeholder relationships, ideally within MSF or a similar organization(s)
Strong understanding of digital health implementation and/or product management
Experience supporting research and program monitoring using qualitative and quantitative methods
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g. Arabic) are a plus
Desirable
Familiarity with non-communicable disease programs
Experience with vendor management or coordinating with software development teams
Background in public health, digital health, or a related field (MPH, MSc, or equivalent experience preferred)
