We specialize in providing high-quality services in research, evaluation, third-party monitoring, capacity building, and policy advisory to humanitarian and development actors worldwide.
Position Overview
Ektimisi is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Projects and Reporting Specialist (PRS) to support the implementation, coordination, and quality assurance of consultancy assignments. The PRS will contribute across all phases of the project cycle—from proposal development to data collection support and technical reporting—while ensuring that internal processes, tools, and documentation systems are well maintained.
This role involves working directly with Field Teams, Technical Experts, and Ektimisi Management, with a high level of responsibility for reporting, client engagement, and internal coordination. The PRS is reporting to the Head of Projects.
· Coordinate and Manage Data Collection
Coordinate and oversee data collection activities in close collaboration with field teams, ensuring the use of standardized tools, adherence to timelines, and maintenance of high data quality standards.
Provide regular follow-up and guidance to field staff, including conducting trainings, onboarding sessions, and troubleshooting during data collection.
· Conduct Data Analysis and Draft Reports
Conduct qualitative and quantitative data analysis to support evidence-based reporting and learning.
Code quantitative data collection tools on Kobo.
Write and edit technical reports, inception reports, research matrix, evaluation deliverables, and other project documentation in collaboration with technical experts and project leads.
· Develop Tools and Maintain Documentation
Contribute to the development and adaptation of data collection and reporting tools.
Organize and maintain structured documentation and project deliverables using SharePoint or other internal systems, ensuring trackers and archives are regularly updated.
· Manage Coordination and Communication
Manage internal and external communication and follow-up across teams to ensure timely completion of tasks and deliverables.
Attend internal and external meetings, including coordination calls, debriefings, or interviews, on behalf of the project or organization.
Support HR-related tasks as needed, including interviewing experts and field researchers, assisting with onboarding, and maintaining their trackers.
· Support Proposal Development
Contribute to proposal development, including writing, structuring, and packaging submissions, and coordinating inputs from different team members.
· Quality Assurance and Internal Improvement
Review and assure the quality of data, tools, and deliverables to ensure alignment with internal standards and client requirements.
Identify and implement improvements to tools, systems, or workflows that enhance quality and efficiency.
· Other Duties
Complete assigned and unassigned tasks proactively, with minimal need for follow-up or reminders.
Carry out any other tasks as required based on business needs and management direction.
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in the humanitarian, development, or consulting sectors, with a focus on M&E, project reporting, or research.
Demonstrated ability to support the production of high-quality reports and evidence-based deliverables for NGOs, UN agencies, or international donors.
Familiarity with M&E concepts, qualitative and quantitative methods, and data management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (mandatory); Arabic is an asset.
Excellent experience with using data collection and analysis tools like excel and Kobo.
High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities.
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in remote, fast-paced environments.
Strong problem-solving and coordination skills, with a proactive approach.
Have access to fast internet as the work is remote and requires good internet connection
Remote work with flexible working hours; preferred availability between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM for coordination and meetings.
Fixed monthly payment structure, with performance-based bonuses tied to performance.
Opportunity to engage in diverse, multi-country assignments across the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and beyond.
