About: Action against Hunger

Created in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights hunger in the world. Its charter of humanitarian principles - independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency - has been the basis of its identity for more than 40 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, especially during and after emergency situations related to conflicts and natural disasters. Action Against Hunger coordinates its programs around 5 areas of activity: Nutrition and Health - Mental Health, Psychosocial Support and Protection - Food Security and Livelihoods - Water, Sanitation and Hygiene - Advocacy. Mission:

Under the supervision of the Logistics - Energy Pole Manager, your missions will be to:
Coordinate and technically support the Country Offices on the Electrical Safety and Energy Production Component
Ensure the functional management of human resources Energy framework of the Country Offices
Support program teams on their energy-intensive activities
Conduct field visits for the completion/supervision of work and/or training of national resources in these countries

Profile:

You hold an engineering degree or an equivalent Master's degree in Electricity, Electrical Engineering, Energy, Photovoltaics, or HVAC (HVAC), and have 6 years of experience in these technical fields, including experience in the humanitarian environment.
You have experience in electrical compliance, construction site management and their commissioning, as well as in preventive electrical maintenance.
You have skills in HR Management of several teams of people, and/or subcontractors. You are able to technically train and manage projects (coordination, planning, technical audit and monitoring, financial and purchasing management).
You have skills in BT CFO power panel sizing and electrical protections; solar systems; generators and mechanical operations.
You master English, orally and in writing.

Conditions of employment

Status: Integrated Cadre - 7-month fixed-term contract until 31/08/2025 - Full-time
Location: Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis)
Remuneration: From 41K to 50Keuros gross per year over 13 months depending on experience
Benefits: 25 days per year of CP and 21 days of RTT

Transport allowances: 50% coverage of the flat rate between home and workplace

No mandatory face-to-face on this position, outside of collective face-to-face times.
Collective face-to-face time imposed / also mandatory by the employer: for collective meetings and events (up to 3 days per month) and 2 days of mandatory presence during your integration into the team
