About: Action against Hunger

Mission:
Provide support to the project manager to support ÃŽle-de-France partners in the implementation of the Mission France programs in ÃŽle-de-France
Mission 1: Participate in monitoring the context and activity of partners
-Monitor the regional literature on the points of interest of the files followed by the Project Manager (CP) and participate in the writing of notes of general interest;
- Monitor the activities of ACF's operational partners and share information;
In coordination with the CT and the CP, share the reports and key elements that will feed the context for the France mission;
Mission 2: Contribute to the implementation of support activities with partners
-Contribute to the planning, assembly and monitoring of operational partnerships;
-Contribute to diagnostic, monitoring and evaluation activities as part of the support provided by ACF to partners; in particular through the development of monitoring and evaluation tools, data collection, the writing of reports and the formulation of recommendations.
-Support the CP in the preparation of external meetings, working groups, steering committee, work restitutions and any other operational variation of the support provided to partners;
-Ensure the drafting of the reports and their dissemination, as well as any other useful tool and document on validation of the CP
Mission 3: Participate in the mobilization and coordination of volunteers
-Identify mobilization needs;
-Organize in coordination with the CP and the CT assistant, the key times of the mobilization of volunteers (briefings, training, debriefing, etc.) in line with the objectives of the proposed volunteer missions;
-Organize the supervision and coordination of volunteers during the deployment of activities.
Mission 4: Contribute to the monitoring of activities and team life
-Collect the information necessary for project monitoring and consolidating program monitoring indicators;
-Archive the documentation in accordance with the requests of the project manager;
-Participate in monthly team meetings as well as thematic working times
Profile:
The ideal candidate holds a generalist higher education at Master's level (in international relations, political science, economics, statistics, humanities, or nutrition/food) and/or specialized in International Development. Strong skills in project management, data collection and analysis, money transfers, food safety and nutrition are required.
A first experience in the management of food security programs, monitoring and evaluation or social assistance is highly desired, especially in the associative context with people in precarious situations. We also value knowledge of the functioning of local authorities and a marked interest in public policies to combat food insecurity in France.
Experience in network animation and actor coordination as well as an interest in the processes of collective intelligence and popular education would be an asset.
Conditions of employment
- Mandatory Condition: Have an internship agreement issued by a school under French law
- Duration of the Internship: 6 months (based in Montreuil, 102 rue de paris)
- Desired Start: 12/02/2025
- Salary Conditions: Internship compensated up to 4.57 euros net per hour (on a 35-hour basis per week). Weekly working time (38.75h). Restaurant vouchers at 8EUR (60% supported by ACF). Coverage of 50% of public transport costs.- -Teleworking: There is an ACF telework policy that defines the activities of the position requiring mandatory presence time at the association's headquarters, and allows you to choose to carry out part of the work in telework. On the France mission, a mandatory presence at headquarters of at least 8 days per month has been defined for this position since it is an internship on an ACF field mission.
