About: Action Against Hunger

Founded in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights hunger in the world. Its charter of humanitarian principles - independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency - has established its identity for more than 40 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger by preventing, detecting and treating malnutrition, especially during and after emergencies related to conflicts and natural disasters. Action against Hunger coordinates its programs around 7 areas of activity: Nutrition and Health - Mental Health, Psychosocial Support - Food Security and Livelihood - Water, Sanitation and Hygiene - Advocacy - Climate - Research, analysis and learning. Mission:

We are looking for an intern capable of supporting the development and implementation of projects within the Delegated Directorate of the Advocacy in Île-de-France, through the following missions:

Contribute to parliamentary and institutional advocacy actions:
- Contribute to the preparation and follow-up of political advocacy actions (including the campaign around the Civil Society Pledge to be signed by French parliamentarians).
- Assist in the writing of letters, arguments and advocacy documents that link the civic space and International NGOs.

Contribute to the mobilization of NGOs and coalitions:
- Participate in the animation of the inter-NGO group (humanitarian, development, human rights) on the civic space.
- Prepare the minutes, follow the actions decided and contribute to the construction of a common advocacy.

Contribute to the constitution of ACF's expertise and its dissemination:
- Carry out a watch via summary notes (reports, studies, international texts, press articles) on the civic space and its links with the location and mandate of ACF.
- Contribute to the creation of communication materials (infographics, slides, short sheets) to raise awareness among internal teams and associative partners.

Support the Civil Societies Cluster in its activities:
- Participation in the various working groups on civic space, the localization / decolonization of the aid and shifting the power

Profile:

We are looking for a candidate who shares our commitment and who has the following qualities:

- You are ideally preparing a Master II in Human Rights, Political Science, Public Affairs, Development and Humanitarian, or Management of Association Structures.
- You have a curiosity about topics (civic space, location of help) treated is essential.
- You have a first experience in advocacy or an associative commitment.
- You master the concepts of project management and have good writing and synthesis skills.
- You are autonomous, organized, attentive, and force of proposal.
- You know how to work in a team and federate around a project.

Conditions of employment

Mandatory Condition: Have an internship agreement issued by a French law school
Duration of the internship: 6 months (based in Montreuil, 102 rue de paris)
Desired Position: 11/27/2025

Salary Conditions:
- Compensated internship up to 4.57 euros net per hour (on a basis of 35 hours per week). Weekly working time (38.75h).
- Restaurant vouchers at 8EUR (60% covered by ACF).
- Coverage of 50% of public transport costs.

Telework: ACF has a telework policy that supervises activities requiring an imperative presence at headquarters, while allowing you to carry out part of your work remotely. A regular presence at the Montreuil headquarters is thus planned, according to a frequency defined with your manager. In addition, there are about three days a month dedicated to meetings and group events.
