Assignment :
You will be responsible for establishing a reliable and relevant delegation system (with appropriate control mechanisms), and more specifically for:
Managing the preparation, updating, and implementation of a country strategy, adapted to the country and regional context, and respectful of ACF's vision and mission;
Overseeing the definition of ACF's programs and projects for the mission with the aim of ensuring their effective and efficient design, implementation, and evaluation;
Developing and improving relationships between the mission and representatives of donors, civil society, the private sector, government agencies, and other organizations, recognizing diversity as an asset of the humanitarian community, so that ACF can maximize its impact on malnutrition and its prevention;
Leading the preparation, regular updating, and implementation of the security plan in accordance with ACF's standards and procedures;
Overseeing the management and development of the mission's human resources (direct management of approximately 10 staff members and 200 at the country office) and To create a shared vision, among all staff, of ACF's values and program objectives, as well as each person's role in achieving them;
to supervise and direct the appropriate mobilization, use, and management of the mission's financial and logistical resources, in accordance with ACF policies and donor requirements;
to maintain good working relationships with headquarters by responding to information requests and soliciting headquarters expertise to optimize the implementation of the country strategy

Profile:
You hold a Master's degree (Bac+5) and have at least 6 years of experience as a Field Coordinator, Deputy Country Director, or Country Director in international NGOs.
Prior experience in the Central African Republic and/or with Action Against Hunger will be considered an asset.
You have experience in emergency response and medium/long-term projects, representation and negotiations with authorities, donors, and partners, strategic planning, and security management and access negotiations.
You have a very good understanding of project design and management.
You are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
Employment conditions
Vaccination against Mpox is recommended for employees travelling to this country.
Fixed-term contract under French law: 12 months until 18/03/2027.
Gross monthly salary: from €3,572 to €4,128 depending on experience, including a 13th-month bonus.
Retirement insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens: 16% of gross monthly salary.
Base salary increase: 6% every 12 months of continuous contract.
Monthly per diem and living expenses: €746 net, paid on-site.
Monthly context allowance: €150.
Child allowance: €1,500 per year per child present in the country of origin (capped at €6,000/year).
Transportation and accommodation: Travel and accommodation in a private apartment provided.
Medical coverage: 100% coverage of health insurance contributions and repatriation insurance, and of your medical expenses for up to 1 month after the end of your contract.
Salary maintenance provisions (illness, maternity, paternity).
Leave. and RnR: 25 days per year of paid leave and 20 RnR per year; travel expenses covered up to a certain limit to reach the chosen break zone, and a flat-rate allowance of €215 per RnR.

Field visits: Bossangoa, Bouar, Ngaoundaie.
