Job Title: Community Health Worker Team Leader
Job location: Syria – Aleppo – Azaz Office
Report to: Nutrition Coordinator

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The CHW team leader has the following responsibilities and duties:Field Supervision and Team Management
• Guide the Nutrition Team in the field based on the daily work plan shared by the Nutrition Coordinator.
• Distribute tasks among team members each day and make sure everyone knows their responsibilities.
• Help solve any problems that happen during field activities.
• Take turns leading the team in the field, according to a shared schedule, to provide supervision and ensure quality of work.
• Coordinate logistics for fieldwork (e.g., vehicles, supplies, setup of activity points).
Technical Tasks and Coordination
• Work with partners and other teams to make sure activities go smoothly and on time.
• Regularly update service maps for referrals (health centers, hospitals, etc.) and share with the Program Manager.
• Ensure that referrals from the Nutrition Team to health or treatment centers are made and followed up on.
• Support the Nutrition Coordinator in checking team performance and suggesting improvements.
• Help create and deliver key health messages (nutrition, hygiene, newborn care, etc.) to the community.
• Share any updates about community needs or service gaps with the Nutrition Coordinator.
Reporting
• Make sure nutrition workers collect accurate data during field visits.
• Review and confirm beneficiary lists and documentation before submitting them to the Nutrition Coordinator.
• Submit reports on time about the tasks completed in the field.
Other Responsibilities
• Always follow MedGlobal policies and guidelines.
• Perform other related tasks as requested by your supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Should have the following skills, education, and experience:
Requirements (essential)
• At least in the fourth year of university in a relevant field (nutrition, health, biomedical science, general science, or other related degrees)
• Minimum three years working experience of community nutrition activity in NGO within Syria.
• Willingness to live and work in North Aleppo.
Requirements (desired)
• Experience of leading the team in field visits within the field for at least one year.
• Preferred to have experience of community nutrition related activities related to PLW (Pregnant and Lactating Woman) and children for at least one year.
• Participate in the distribution nutritional supplements provided to beneficiaries of the nutrition program for at least one round.
